Sensational !! I was again with friends who had a bad experience last week at the restaurant and since then we have had a totally different treatment, where the entire team contacted me, offering to really show us how the restaurant welcomes its customers, We were very well received by Jillian Ferencz and his team who provided us with enormous, great attention and enormous affection for the children!! My friends, who were suspicious, totally surrendered and saw that the Restaurant really is Wonderful!! not only in the visual environment but also in the people, food and drinks!! Everything was charming!! I would like to express my sincere thanks to the Restaurant team, who were spectacular!!
I've been to the place a few times and have always received good service. But today, Tuesday 04/16/24, I went to the restaurant with friends who were in the city for the first time, and I said it was a very pleasant and welcoming place. We were served very well, but an unusual thing happened, a man came to the table we were at and simply turned off the lights, without saying anything, without giving a reason and left. So the waitress who was serving us apologized and said she didn't know why he did that, and I said it was my friends' first time there, I said it was a super welcoming and different place. then she turned the lights on again and apologized. Then the boy came back and turned it off saying that she couldn't have turned the lights on again and left. I asked the waitress who the Manager was and she said it was him. So a question, how does a place leave a person so unprepared to serve customers, people, being so rude and treating people badly. Here is a record of what happened and I apologized to my friends who were visiting the place for the first time!! bad impression...
Read moreThe worst service! After an amazing and very expensive dinner downstairs at Drift, we decided to have a nightcap at Rosewater rooftop. Two glasses of Wine ($50+) sitting on one of the sofas with my date. We each had less than half glass of wine at the time a server approached us with two plastic cups and told us we had to put our wine in the plastic cups and move from the sofa to the pool area. We mentioned we were almost finished with our wine and we will leave shortly. We asked why he insisted we move from where we were at, he said in a state of urgency that somebody else is coming for this seating area. We looked around and there were several other open sofa areas for other guests who were not even there yet. We were already there, and nobody was waiting. He insisted we leave so he could wipe the table down for the guests who weren't there yet. (There was nothing to wipe down)
He threatened us that if we don't move he will call security. Since we were almost finished with our wine we stayed to finish our wine. Another staff member approached us and said he was the manager, told us we have to leave the sofa because other people are waiting. Even though nobody was waiting.
The manager refused to give his name and the servers name when asked. Although when I mentioned that I will be writing a review, he tried to recover by offering another glass of wine , but that's not what we wanted. We only wanted to finish our wine and leave without having to relocate where we were comfortably sitting. The experience left us feeling harassed and unwelcomed.
The staff needs serious training on...
Read moreI had been wanting to check out Rosewater Rooftop for a long time, and finally did so on a Tuesday night. It wasn’t busy, and the atmosphere was absolutely perfect. A pleasant surprise was that their happy hour ran until 6 PM, so we decided to order everything listed on the menu!
I had read some reviews saying the food might not match the great ambiance, but we were lucky to enjoy every dish we ordered. We started with nachos and guacamole, followed by a refreshing watermelon salad with cheese, and the shrimp, which were perfectly spiced and absolutely delicious. There was also a cold fish dish served with chips, and a variety of breads with different toppings—all of it was flavorful and satisfying. The portions were generous, and the two of us shared everything, even taking the cold fish home.
While they only had one server working, which made the wait a bit longer at first, our server, Allison, did an amazing job. Even though she was busy, she took the time to make us feel special and checked in with us frequently. Later in the evening, the place started to fill up, but the vibe remained relaxed.
The music was another highlight—chill, enjoyable, and not too loud like in many other places. Overall, this is a fantastic spot for a date night or a gathering with friends.
One tip: valet parking is $35, so I’d recommend parking on the street if possible.
Highly recommend Rosewater Rooftop for a memorable evening! Allison also shared that Friday and Saturday night can be busy and fun. So I am coming back to...
