Recently I got into stained glass art, but the downside is that Hobby Lobby seems to be the only stained glass supplier in the area. Even though I disagree with their politics I didn't have much choice but to shop there. Until today I haven't had a bad experience.
Today I went in to grab supplies for a sun catcher I'm making. All I had was a glass panel and some small bead packages. I didn't even need a basket to carry it. I got in line and waited several minutes. There were only two people ahead of me and they appeared to have less than I did. They saw me standing there as we waited and one of their kids ran around.

The cashier then stated that the customer before us told her she did not speak English. I applauded her on her bilingual status. That is when she seemed put out and put off by the previous customer's inability to speak English despite her 'four years of honors Spanish'. I am sure this was a one off event, but it was my first impression of the store ...
