American Plunge — Attraction in Branson

This is such a simple but AWESOME ride!!!! It starts off going through a long, dark tunnel and then back outside where you float under overhangs and past other little surprises! Then you it pulls you up a decently long chain lift to the big slide!!!! The slide down is steep, fast, and so much fun!!!! You will get wet!!! We noticed though that the person in the back of the boat always got drenched while the people in front just got damp. Guess in depends on weight too. I took my three year old son on this and he did NOT like the ending drop so keep that in mind for younger children. My other kids (ages 8 through 15) loved it! Very calm ride through a lazy river—until the end. This ride at the amusement park has a long, steep, quick acceleration into a water-filled track. I’ve ridden this ride many times and it’s very fun. Depending where you sit, you may or may not get wet. It is also hard to predict sometimes. I would not bring electronics or other things on the ride that aren’t water resistant. Expect your friends to not take kindly to being splashed by you if you choose to do so. You will get wet. Very wet.
