Time flies. I been a devotee of Santisima Muerte for almost two years now. And I been using botanica Chango for my monthly visits and essentials. The owner is the one always there , behind the counter , AND stocking. The beautiful thing about his place is that he isn’t poking for money money money. I believe like myself , he truly loved what he does and his spirituality that he opened this shop to help people, and listen to their thoughts concerns and dreams , I expressed to him the constant dreams I been having of the Santa Muerte for many nights and while I could guess as she wants to get through from the 10 plus dreams (not joking within the last 2 1/2 months… he guided me into a deeper meaning and what exactly I’m going through, and clarified this is what happens whenyou and deity have created this connection as mine is strong with her, he’s always so happy too see me and most of his customers or “regular” I got a good read , they have a fair number of all Spanish to English books. A lot of the books on la Nina Blanca are Spanish but they have lots of other good reads, and the basics of Santeria. He also has so many goodies as caldron many inscento. I wish he had a bigger selection of la Santa Muerte, all though he does have 4 different veladora for her . In this practice you know if you can’t find a candle with your Santa or Santo on it- you just buy the color of the intent. But still I wish the variety for her candles , and even sahumeiro was a little bigger.but other then that he has lots of statues ranging 2 ft and down. And many orishas santos Santa’s herbs and baths herbal baths cologne pharmones bssically anything you are looking for. And I realized since I came into the shop he has added more santisima statues❤️ Which is so thoughtful… so I may suggest to him to get the sahumerio of Santa Muerte and id buy them all the time . Great collection of bracelets for santisima and others ofcourse beautiful necklaces and Rosario’s I got my very first santisima rosario from him and I wear till this day , from almost two years ago! And awesome santisima breacelets and many Orisha beaded long necklaces.

I been going here for Almost near two years and I forget his name . But he’s helped me with my spiritual Journey and he’s so sweet and if your new this is like the best one to go to in this are , elegiac on Fairfield ave is great beautiful selections but you need to know what your going there for , f you don’t speak Spanish because La Niña there the wonder doesn’t speak a drop of English but has a beautiful Selection of statues , 6 foot santisimas….so that’s why I’m always going to my main botanica , on east main. If I don’t go there at least once or twice a month my p Spirit and MY spirits won’t...

The Saint Barbara Botanica has been a wonder for blessing in my life. It helps me physically and spiritually with things I needed to accomplish coming from a very Catholic background and thinking everything is demonic and evil, I see the benefit of opening your eyes just a little bit more wider. The people who work here have been a blessing to me in my spiritual life, because the second being that I was scared of with lighting candles, even though I’ve always lit candles know how to proceed with the candles but now with your guidance in a cup and it showing me that I could do this, they have showed me different ways to get what I want. I consider them spiritual teachers because they guided me each time I came into the shop to get some help and the tips that were given to me in the teachings I will take to the grave. They are very authentic, very much helpful and all around good quality. They will for ever have they a lifetime customer. Thank you for all your help and I hope that your soon to come...

I just left this store after visiting for the 1st time. It's very well organized and clean, and the customer service is AMAZINGGG ! I am in need of understanding what love and confidence are to me and the lovely man who helped me, I will get his name next time as I will for sure be back, waa beyond patient. He provided me with all that I would need after listening to my concerns, which I could barely put into words myself, but he heard me loud and clear !
