Maine Lobster Express — Attraction in Bridgton

The lobster roll sandwich was fresh but nothing special and not very much meat for an unadorned $14.99 sandwich combo. Just a couple ounces of lobster meat in a toasted hot dog bun.

The menu obligates you to get chips and a soda with your sandwich even if you don't want them

I don't recommend takeout, as the toasted bun didn't hold up in a 10-15 minute drive home.

Bring cash or debit card, as the owner charges a very hefty 4% surcharge to use credit cards.

We have gotten lobsters from here before and enjoyed them but this time we went for lobster rolls. Ordered ahead of time and asked if they could do butter instead of mayo. They assured us that would be fine. We went to pick up the lobster rolls and were given hot dog rolls with lobster and a plastic container of plain butter (like what you get with whole lobsters). For the price they were also very small with the roll not especially full. Should’ve just told us they didn’t do lobsters rolls...

When visiting Maine, we stay with friends in Bridgton, like 1.5 miles from Maine Lobster Express, and coming here multiple times during the week is part of our ritual. We buy fresh seafood and most importantly, lobster rolls.

Some of the best lobster rolls I've had ever. This roll is all about the lobster portion, which is substantial, and the proper bun, toasted. So amazing!
