Over the years I have come to appreciate Renys unique bargains and products. The stores are not the same genre as a "Country Store", but a local department store like what "Grants" used to be. I went to check out with my 16-year-old daughter advanced up to the register and was told we could not be checked out by the young lady who then I recognized as one of my daughter's friends from elementary school who she no longer associates with. The woman running the register had already told the young lady she could not wait on us because we were friends. She said it's the store policy. I do not believe that to be true. Is this a New policy. I've had lots of friends come and go who have worked there and it's never been a problem . It made all of us uncomfortable especially the young girls.
