I love this park. It holds so many memories for me and my children. I do wish however that the pond would get more attention. It's such a pretty location, but I wouldn't want to fish out of that pond anymore. There is so much garbage and dead things in there its gross. I am surprised as many people do with how nasty it looks. They also really need to fix the water sprayers that's on both ends. It really adds an extra beauty to the park. Aside from that issue it's a great park.
Nice playground for kids to play, a fenced basketball court, baseball field and soccer fields, and what my kids love... the swimming pool. You can take the older kids to the pool and let the really little kids play on the playground. There are picnic tables scattered around. Some nice shaded areas. Public restrooms that are open during spring/summer. Many events held there during spring and summer as well. Usually events during free fishing day. And In September during peach days, there's...
Read moreRees Pioneer Park is hands-down one of my favorite spots in Utah. The lake is absolutely beautiful—perfect for relaxing walks, peaceful views, or just sitting and taking it all in. There’s tons of open space, which is a huge win if you have a dog. I bring mine out here regularly, and there’s plenty of room to throw the ball and let him run to his heart’s content.
The park is always clean and well-maintained, and you can tell the city takes pride in it. Whether you’re out for a morning jog, a family picnic, or just need a quiet place to unwind, this park has something for everyone. And the views? Seriously stunning. On clear days, you get that classic Utah sky stretching out over the water—perfect for photos or just soaking in nature.
Highly recommend for dog owners, nature lovers, and anyone looking for a peaceful escape with lots of space to move...
Read moreStopped by here to enjoy an evening dinner and fell in love with this little park. The view of the pond, the bridge and the park all in one place really creates a nice space for Brigham City's populace to go outside and enjoy all sorts of activities outdoors.
I didn't see many picnic benches around, so if there is ever a time when the park is crowded, you may find most benches claimed. But I imagine you'll always find at least one available. There is plenty of shade for wining and dining on a blanket in classic picnic style if that's what you prefer. There is a walking trail that is no more than a mile long and goes around the perimeter of the park.
It's a lovely little spot and definitely has a peaceful, small...
