I lived in Brigham for many years and never went to this place. I always got an icky feeling off it and the shenanigans that would occur in town after people being there. But recently I found out that they are also discriminatory in hiring because of who their family members like or don't like. What a petty way to run a business. But hey I guess the federal statutes against discrimination don't apply to this place. I will tell as many people as I know about this.
Update: Annette, you just lied in your "not knowing what I'm talking about" and that's why your establishment has an icky vibes, it's who runs it and the attitude of I'm not doing anything wrong. Should I remind you of what I'm talking about? You told an applicant, yourself, about how unpleasant your family member would make her life if you hired her and that's why you wouldn't do it. It was petty to of said it and it's petty you let a very nasty spirited girl dictate how you run your business. Have the day...
Read moreConversation was interrupted by bartender. She asked what a friend and I were discussing, and when we said Trump.....she told us it wasn't allowed because politics. Two friends well into their 40's and older, who know Trump as a public figure, FAR BEYOND POLITICS, should NEVER be interrupted, only to be told what we can and can't talk about. Especially when it was a very quiet, polite conversation that never was meant for your bartender to be part of. She inserted herself. So No As long as you employ her and have a stance that dictates what I can and can't talk about amongst friends.....my dollars will stay in my pocket. I'm pretty sure she felt her political views were not so in line with ours so she flexed her small town bartender authority. Costs B&B while saving me tons. Keep her...and btw.....we were talking about Trump in his early years with boxing and Don King. Maybe the easily triggered shouldn't have such a say. Response over a year...
Read moreMy husband and I are not from here but we will be living here for the next 3 years (RV workampers we are). So I was extremely nervous about joining a pool league. I just want to say your staff is the BEST we've ever encountered in the Bar Business and we've been all the USA (Boston is our home turf). They have eagle eyes and ears and when they smell trouble they are on top of it FAST. Even if you don't drink they make darn sure your coffee cup is always full. Most bars will not do that. These ladies are so friendly and care about their guest for the night. I'm now looking forward coming every Friday now. Whoever runs the bar has strong Core Values and it shows in your staff. Everyone gets along which was also nice to see (I have an eagle eyes and ears and owned a business myself). So a big mighty thank you for treating us OUTSIDERS like family. See...
