Silver Lake Nature Center — Attraction in Bristol Township

I would like to make a complaint. I have never been to this park before. Me and my boyfriend were doing a virtual easter egg hunt that led us to your facility. The gate was open and we drove by the front building slowly because we realized it was late and was not sure if it was still open. We seen a car but nobody was there. Granted it was the opposite side we should have been on. Drove in a bit and seen a park recreation truck and stopped to ask if we just stayed for 5 mins to drive around. They said it was fine. Drove further in to have someone wave us down. That women was extremely rude! We stopped because we thought she needed help! She rudely say what are you guys doing? We told her exactly what we were doing and thought we were being nice as well but she was extremely snippy and told us we had to leave and the people we asked if it was ok were nobody!!!! Uh they are somebody they are people too. She says there was someone at the front gate that said we blew through the gate. We did no such thing! We drove slowly through looking for people! Then we drove to the front gates and stoped and complained about the woman. She then told us we could deal with her or deal with the police!?! I will never recommend this facility to anyone! I have never been treated like trash or a criminal! Beautiful place for what i seen of it but the staff are...

Great park.This park is has a Nature Center, Earthship, Visitor Center with gift shop and reference library. There are paved and natural trails through the park. The natural trail has boardwalks through wetland areas including one that goes out over the lake and ends in an observation deck where you may observe ducks, Great Blue Heron, the Great Egret and the Red-winged Blackbird.. The wetlands and woodlands are habitat to rare and threatened animal and plant species like the Red Belly Turtle, Southern Leopard Frog, and the Maryland Meadow Beauty. Near the Visitor Center is a 60-person amphitheater is designed for campfires and shows. Near the Nature Center is a butterfly and pollinator garden with bee hives. The lake is a popular fishing spot. In the open meadow area is a playground, bathrooms, workout stations, and swing set. The park should add more play equipment especially for young children. While this is a great park it is very noisy as it is boarded by route 13 on one side and Bath Road on the other. ...

The security guard harasses young people in their cars he's always bothering them think they're on drugs and they are not they're there to walk their dogs I will never go there again I am 52 years old my mom took me when I was a baby there I took my daughter who was a baby and now she went when the security guard cuffed her because you thought she was doing drugs but he didn't even search the car he just coughed her and put her in the back seat and guess what there was no drugs cuz she doesn't do them now she will never go back again to bring her own children so I think you should fire the security guard that is on there like I said I've been going there for 52 years never had a problem until now I will never go back because of one man who handcuffed my daughter he should be fired and he threatened to her he said he was going to stop her whenever he sees her car on the road handcuff her and search her car this man needs to be...
