I came here with my 5 year old daughter because of the reviews and because they show a picture of a child's pedicure chair. When we walked in they asked me what I wanted. I told them exactly what I wanted. I wanted an acrylic set with gel polish and manicure, a spa pedicure, and a kids mani/pedi. They sat me down in the pedicure chair and had my daughter sit next to me. The woman who was doing my pedicure sits at station 6 for manicures. The entire time she was preoccupied. Every time someone walked in she looked up from what she was doing. When I told her I wanted a calus remover she said your feet are fine (no they are not. The skin is dead and rough) so I said again that I wanted it which she reluctantly did. She didn't even let the paint dry on my toes before she moved me to the manicure station. Again very preoccupied, talking to the woman next to her looking at the other woman's phone. When I asked for my nails to be short she said even shorter? I had to explain that I work with children so I need the short. After she did the gel polish she was going to paint my daughters nails. My daughter told her she wanted the chair so she had someone else do her nails. My daughter and I were expecting her to get a pedicure water, and all but nope they just painted them. My daughter asked why she doesn't get water like mommy and the woman said "the water is too hot today." We probably won't be returning after...
Read moreWent to Ivy nails a week ago in Brownsburg to get my nails done with my friend, while in the chair I experienced the most rude and unprofessional behavior from one of the nail tech. A lady came in to get her nails done apparently she had an appointment with the tech, the tech looked at me as if she forgot that she scheduled the lady appointment! she proceeded to tell the lady she could not see her because she's overbooked, she then looked at me and started talking bad about the customer, then she proceeded to speak in her language to the other workers. She then gets up to try to schedule another appt for the lady a whole week later. I felt so bad for that young lady and I hope that she will never return and possibly find another place of service. If you don't want to service someone don't mistreat them... She took her time to come in, to spend her money. I think that was just so rude, and unprofessional. It wasn't my business for the tech to discuss anything about the young lady to me or others! Very disloyal of her... However, it is always overcrowded not enough technicians to do the ladies nails, You'll wait every bit of 2 hours for service... Will not return! Where is the customers satisfaction and...
Read moreMy first visit to this place (at the recommendation of a friend) was disappointing. While we had an appointment, there was still a bit of a wait time, and one in our party who had booked a specific nail tech was informed that she was too busy to take her that day. Next, I was repeatedly asked (to the point it felt a little like harassment instead of a sales pitch) if I wanted to add a pedicure to my services. I mean REPEATEDLY - by multiple employees, and the same employees, at many different points before, during, and after my service. You would think one or two "no thank you, not this time" responses would be enough. And finally there was apparently a miscommunication about the services I requested. I was there for a manicure; really the only reason I like to go to a nail salon is for the health and care of my nails and nail beds. However, my nails were not even trimmed, let alone all the other things that get done during a manicure. A single nail was filed slightly and then they were all just painted. It was a cheap service, only $10, but it was not what I asked for, and at that point I was too flustered and frustrated with the whole experience to complain. I don't think...
