Booked in 2 rooms for 3 nights a month in advance. Went to book in and mentioned we did not need the 3rd night as the plans had changed and asked if we could just change it to 2 nights at the time of payment and he said we had to pay the full amount (Did not argue as this was on us). We got up to our room 206 and the lock on the door would not work until after 10 plus times. Got in and settled, bed was basically the equivalent to sleeping on a sheet of ply wood. Bed sheets were covered in white stains…. Couldnt sleep hardly at all and woke up with a head ache.. (this comes to play later) went down for breakfast and all they had was stale rice crispy bars, poor quality loaf of stale bread and soggy frozen waffles that ripped in half trying to get them out of their bag. Came back later that night and while using the bathroom I found a ton of black mold all over the bathroom. I informed the manager of this and his response was “right now?” So i said yes it’s every where and he responded “its just mold from water” I said its black mold which he responds with “all mold is black I will just wipe it off”. I asked can I get another room? We crashed with friends in the other room for the time being discussing the issues with their room 205 (their toilet was covered in brown stains and did not flush as the water was turned off). I went to check out our new room and the key would not work at all. Frustrated we opted to pack up and changed hotels. We issued politely our concerns and asked for a refund and the manager denied us saying we should have noticed that right away like the mold grew over night with no one using the shower. I said we should not have to do a health inspection check on the room. He then got angry and started swearing. I am posting some of the mold and gross stuff in our room. There was more but I didnt want to keep...
Read moreYour hot water is shared between 8 rooms on one hot water tank...at best you get half-a-tub of hot water then to top off the tub you get cold water to do so, plus the bath water is dark yellow (I’m NOT exaggerating!) called management to my room and he said “you see the water is luke warm so that means you will get hot water soon”. I’m sorry but this is not a third world country. Rooms are refurbished and very nice but not being able to take an enjoyable FULL HOT bath or SHOWER when I need to before and after work is a deal breaker for me. If you have a hot date and think your going to be making love in the shower with hot water think again! Also if you don’t want to freeze in your bed bring a blanket as theirs are paper thin to keep their laundry bill low. Posting this to save other ppl the trouble of staying here...it’s simple super 8 treat your guests with respect, fix the hot water, add a blanket, because what you have in the rooms isn’t a blanket! Every one that walks through your door isn’t someone that’s going to tear your room up and works hard for their money! I’m sure your family isn’t going with out hot water in the managements room! Now bob your head back and forth to that and let it sink in! We are the customer and it’s your job to keep us coming in...not ours! I’m not spending my hard earned money on rude staff, Luke warm yellow bath water, oh and that reminds me your staff should never turn the AC/heater off in my room after they clean it! I left the heat on 72 before going to work so I had a warm room to come back to after work and low and behold your cleaning staff turned it off to SAVE YOU MONEY...and take away my comfort after I froze my butt off at work all day! You can’t spend money in heaven buddy! You are some sorry...
Read moreI went to this location to stay onemail night during a long road trip from Washington State to Ohio. It was tricky location to get to. Front Desk area was very low budget looking, it looked like they were in the process of remodeling or something since there were bits of sheet rock and drywall missing of the ceiling. The access to the front desk also was very restricted. Only the staff member inside could open and close the main doors. When I checked in my room i noticed that the swing bar lock was missing. Other also in the room seemed out of place the wall light above television didn't work, the light above the sink flickered, the room looked very in disrepair and dirty the tub looked like it still had dirt or soap scum in it, the shower curtain looked as though the hinges of the rod could come off any minute the pillows on the beds weren't arranged right, the pillows themselves looked worn and dirty. The Room also contain no phone or phonebook or mini refrigerator. I would Recommend the Comfort Suites Inn behind the Wal Mart or any other hotels or motels before them. Definitely not a shining spot...
