The smallest stores by the food court are low key scamming hustlers. I don't know who allows them to vend/rent there, but in general the clothing shops in there will often upcharge way more than koreatown does to make up for import. Google maps says han nam lingerie is temporarily closed but i was just there in july 2025. That specific store flat out increased the sales tax on their calculator in front of my eyes to way above la mirada/ buena parks current city sales tax. I memorized the sales taxes for the cities i most often shop because i am also in the merchandising buisness. They put in 1.1085 in the calculator instead of 1.0975. I didnt say anything since i already spent 30 minutes in the store and just wanted to go home but I regret not calling them out. I am korean so while they didnt treat me as bad as a non korean but the moment I started speaking some small amounts of English that's when they went all hustler mode. The rest of the indoor shopping space is not friendly to non-koreans and in general the tiling in the grocery store needs to be replaces or severely grout cleaned. At least the bathrooms are nice. Ventilation is mid by the vegetable section. Honestly I used to live here as a child and would come here often so I still occasionally drop by. But as an adult each time I go dissapoints me further and grosses me out for various reasons (hygeine, buisness ethics, aisle organization, produce products ) and I'd rather go to Kim's home goods in koreatown for lingerie or korean imported domestic needs and there's way more asian and korean grocery stores compared to 10 years ago so I don't have to resort to grocery shopping here. Last to mention, not only are the shop keepers, grocery staff, security and ect staff all generally in a more hostile stiff mood so are the shoppers, probably because of the staff or the building just has bad vibes since it turned to han nam chain korean beach galleria in 19xx/20xx, making everyone else sour as a result.
Tldr: I will not come here ever again. Better places to shop for korean imported goods without getting hustled and borderline scammed. Other groceries with better food,...

Korean vendors or sellers are not friendly. One store was but others make you feel you should not be there. I bought some things but my heart does not feel warm...
