Fins Up Water Park is hands-down our favorite escape, especially on Mondays when it feels like we’ve got the whole place to ourselves. No lines, no crowds—just pure, uninterrupted fun under the Georgia sun. It’s the kind of spot that makes you forget the hustle and soak in the joy, whether you’re floating down the lazy river or racing down slides with your crew. The vibe is always on point. The drinks are refreshing and hit just right—whether you’re sipping a frozen cocktail or grabbing a cold soda between rides. The staff is friendly and laid-back, and the music adds that perfect beachy energy to the whole experience. It’s like a mini vacation without ever leaving town. Sure, there are occasional ride closures due to staffing, but honestly, it never ruins the day. The majority of the attractions stay open, and there’s still more than enough to keep everyone smiling and splashing. We’ve learned to roll with it, and it’s always worth it. The open rides are top-tier, and the relaxed atmosphere more than makes up for any hiccups. What really sets Fins Up apart is the freedom and ease of the experience. Mondays are our secret weapon—no waiting, no stress, just good vibes and sunshine. It’s become a weekly ritual for us, and we always leave feeling lighter, happier, and more connected. Whether it’s a solo recharge or a family hangout, it delivers every time. If you’re looking for a water park that feels like your own private paradise, Fins Up is it. We’ve made countless memories here, and it never disappoints. Five stars, every time. 💦🌴

05/2024 review after reno. Im leaving a review here as I couldnt find any helpful reviews for fins up after the renovation. The wavepool is shallow and its perfect for my 7 and 11 year old! 3 feet without waves and 4 feet with wave. I could casually monitor unlike la grange wolf lodge or soaky waters in gatlinburg. We like it! The slides are fun but the new slides had a line that lasted 30 min. This wasnt bc the line was long, but bc the college kids working the lines were quite inefficient and couldn’t direct the lines to run quickly. The other slides were fine, but the white ones without tubes burned both of my kids elbows, breaking skin and needing a bandaid. They crossed their arms on the chest but still got burned. I saw many reviews complaining of the food priced. So i took some pics to help. After going to truist ball park and getting used to other stadium food prices, these prices didn't seem outrageous. One of my kids has food allergies and we packed food for him in his school lunch bag and they allowed that in. They also allow one unopened water bottle per person. I wish they would allow our lovely stanley/or equivalent mugs so we could drink ice cold water!(update! They allow empty stanleys with nothing in it!!) Also, they unblocked access to the beach-sand area (saw prior reviews complaining about this). Overall, I think its totally worth the $99/per person season pass. I hope this helps!

My kids love going to this waterpark, but I will give you the good and bad I have found. The good part would be that my kids love going there, love the options for different types of waterslides, and a wave pool for the younger kids and older kids. Also, they provide good options for parents to keep an eye on their kids while playing in the water or on the slides. Now, the bad side of this park is that a bunch of teenagers run it. Some of them are great, but most of the time, you know that you will have to wait a long time to get food. The employees are in no hurry to help you order food and are more worried about socialising with their friends. If you go to get drinks, you’re going to see them vaping and on their cell phones most of the time. They are in no hurry to help you, and it looks like they’re in misery just being there. Also, even though there are lifeguards in some parts, ensure you’re keeping an eye on your kids. These teenagers, who are lifeguards, are often just talking to their friends and not paying attention to the other staff or their friends who come to the park. The exception would be the wave pool. Those lifeguards seem to be very attentive to what’s going on there. This place needs to manage its employees, keep them on task, and improve customer service skills. If you’re bringing your kids there, parents, please pay attention to your kids at all times and do not rely on the lifeguards.

My family and I are season pass holders, and we have visited several times this summer. Unfortunately, we have noticed that the customer service and food/drink quality are going downhill quickly. The bathrooms are nice and very clean. However, the umbrella fountain by the Tiki Bar smells like a urinal. This is unacceptable!! We LOVE renting the little tiki umbrellas and the 20% discount is great!! However, the lounge chairs provided in that area are stretched and you sit/lay on metal bars. We ended up switching out the awful, torturous teal lounge chairs for the tried and true rubber strap chairs! The employees throughout the park are either on their phones or too busy socializing to offer any assistance. We watched many people struggle throughout the day to keep their rented umbrellas from blowing over. Many employees walked by and no one offered assistance. Employees were more interested in socializing or their phones. This season, when we have approached the entrance or a counter or walked by an employee in the park, there has been no greeting or real acknowledgment that they are working in the customer service industry, and we are the customers. Visiting has started to feel more like an overpriced community aquatic center with a lot less personality. My niece tripped and fell scraping her knee. She needed a bandaid, and was directed to first aid twice. There was no-one there. They waited, and no-one ever came to assist. Another time when we visited, employees told my 7 year old niece with bladder issues to pee in the wave pool because the restrooms were broken. Today, Sid’s would not give my niece ice because they “would have to walk all the way up there to get it.” It’s only 4:30. Sid’s is a popular spot. Why don’t they have ice?! Why have they not walked “all the way up there” to get more ice?!? We were unaware that we could get discounts on certain food items with our season pass. We were wearing our arm bands in clear view and paid full price only to find out later that we could have received 20% off. It would not be an inconvenience for employees to smile and ask, “are you a season pass holder,” and apply the discount. My dad visited with us for the first time today and received his refillable bottle with his season pass. Sid’s refused to give him his first drink free because, “people have been saying it was their first time when it wasn’t.” SERIOUSLY!! Maybe the park should have thought of that! A voucher, a receipt, for your first drink?! Something to keep people from abusing the system. It was obviously his first time because they were out of regular wrist bands and had to issue a temporary one. It was obviously BRAND NEW! Each time we have purchased a food voucher, the cashier has not known how to use it and has had to call a manager. This has taken much longer than necessary and has happened for two years in a row now. Today the fries were overcooked and portions were very inconsistent across the park. The video replaying all day was nothing but advertising and hearing the same loud songs over and over again has got to stop!! It’s 8 hours. Songs should not repeat!!

Margaritaville is a well known brand, and I had high hopes when they took over. Unfortunately, they have missed the mark. If this is the quality of service that we should expect moving forward, then at least let families bring in their own...

Wrote an email but didn't get a response!

I'm writing to inform someone in management at Fins Up Water Park that my friend and her boyfriend were injured in the Typhoon & Twister slides (the blue one).

My friend and her boyfriend went on the blue slide together in the blue couples tube. They were given no direction or information from the teenagers that were working there, and ultimately got injured. They came out of the blue slide so fast that they slammed into the concrete wall and railing, injuring her foot and his ankle.

When the lifeguard at the bottom of the slide came over, he called for the medical staff. When the medical staff came over, she said "I don't have anything with me but I can give you a band-aid" for what could possibly be a broken bone (no cut by the way). After we were offered a band-aid and nothing else, we were told to walk down to the medical tent for an ice pack (because it makes sense for someone with an injury to walk half-way across the park).

After we got to the medical tent where there were no ice packs, we were given a zip-lock bag and told to go to the bar for ice. There was also no water at the medical tent for her to use to take the tylenol she was given, just old Gatorade coolers that hadn't been cleaned in week per the First Aide associate (again, lets make the person with the injury walk to get help).

The medical attention here was so below standard that it seemed like we were being pranked. We were here to celebrate her boyfriends birthday, and ended up not being able to do much else because of this accident and lack of care.

The staff here needs to be upgraded. Teenagers that don't care about people's safety that have piss-poor attitudes are ridiculous. I'm just grateful that it was an adult that got injured and not a child. Again, if you'd like to refund us for this experience, please respond to my email. This accident could have been avoided if the associate gave any information on weight limit, instructions, etc.

Let me know if you have any questions. She still can't walk on it or put pressure, and she has a large bruise that indicates...

Bad Bad Bad experience. This was our first trip, we live near by, but it is also our last trip. We had been eying other events like the laser show, or the snow ride in the winter but after this experience i will not be going back to any of it. Let me list the ways we were disappointed

what is listed on the website vs reality is different. We did not take bags because the site said you could only have bags 6x8.5x6 - non insulated. When we got there we saw that bags were allowed but must be checked. However , no checking was actually done. I could have taken anything, but only wanted to take towels , sun screen and water.

No clear method into the park. We parked at the lot where the signs pointed us to, but no one was at the gate. everything was pad locked. At some point a tram came and took us to the correct gate.

It was dirty, the park opened at 11, we were in at about 11:15 and there was trash everywhere. Kids were literally stepping over beer cans and other litter to get on the slide platforms

No outside food and drink, understood, but several times we were told "we don't have any left" this included chicken, BBQ and WATER (WTH, I could have brought my own water)

There is a cashless policy but we were asked for cash at one location - Suspicions

First restaurant we went to for lunch we left without even water after no acknowledgement by any wait staff for a significant amount of time. We were the third table to do so in our area Place we did eat we needed to clean our own tables. Wipe food off table before we could sit down

Trash cans seemed accepted as partially full black trash bags on the grass

Lack of signage in the park to know where we were going.

One good thing is that is was not crowded. I think i know...
