A small airport with convenient location to Arizona and Nevada. The TSA at the airport were absolutely fantastic! Background story, hubby had heart surgery a few months ago and is now connected to both an internal and external medical device which requires special screening to board a plane.
The explosive residue equipment at the airports are quite sensitive and for some reason, hubby's medical bag set off an alarm. TSA agents had already done the pat down search and this was the final step in the security screening. The agents were very informative and calm, they explained what the detection machine picked up and could have, without a doubt, made an issue and a big deal of the alarm. After all, we're talking about the safety and security of the passengers and employees of the airport and bombs are still a very real threat and concern so we felt that the TSA we're just doing their job. We were cooperative and luckily arrived at the airport early for just this type of situation.
We remained patient and TSA agents were quite apologetic for the delay. They had to call upstairs and get approval from the big boss to allow us to go ahead. All in all, they handled the situation with respect, dignity and patience. They explained the situation which really helped us to remain calm. Well done TSA Bullhead City...
Read moreFlew in March 27 and flew out March 30. I have been flying in to your airport since the 90's. Have always had a good experience until March 30 my flight home. Your security personnel were great but the one lady at the counter to board us was nasty and was dressed very unprofessional. I wish I could have gotten her name for you but I was extremely upset and didn't even want to look at her. With the many flights you get daily with senior citizens on the flights who are handicapped in one way or another you should have more people who can deal with this. I am deaf and wear two hearing aides but sometimes the announcing of boarding is hard to understand. I got in line thinking it was time to board and she very snotty reprimanded me in front of the whole group trying to board your Republic airlines going to Monterey and severely embarrassed me. I also noticed that your speakers announced on the side of the terminal where we were not sitting . You need speakers that work on both sides of terminal - this was gate 2 where you had no speakers so it made it extremely difficult to hear. She was a very grumpy person and was dressed in rolled up pants and dirty shoes and very unkempt - she looked like she had slept in the...
Read moreHertz has turned into a rip off organization, rented a car in Laughlin NV for 3 days , my quote was with a AAA discount was $169.00 including taxes , I opted for add of fuel at $50.56 and was told by pick up driver , Muzaffar which lot to leave the car when we retuned it . It was discussed that car would be retuned Fri PM and even OK if we returned Sat AM at no additional charge. We then spoke with Bethany at the desk to add a driver and she also stated they would be closed when we retuned just park the car in the lot. At no time were we just told to put keys in a lockbox. Now I are being charged $376.00 stating I did not drop keys in a lock box .The entire car lot where cars are left can easily be walked or just looked at for cars in it . Hertz clearly has turned into a less than NO 1 car rental agency that deserves a government review of their rentals and charges to consumers. The management staff was contacted twice to resolve these overcharges but to date no credits have been applied . Consumers might consider using Avis , Budget or...
