What a treasure to find in Burbank! We got the opportunity to attend a 5th birthday party here this weekend and both my daughter and I loved it!
It’s a clean, cozy space that is just the right size. Here’s what I mean: I’ve been to so many parties where I feel like I have to follow my kid around because they will wander into an unsafe area or get themselves into trouble (don’t get me started on SkyZone or the McDonald’s indoor playground) and I was able to actually relax and have adult conversation while my kid had the time of her life.
They have it set up with different areas that are really something for everyone - pirate ship, reading nook, pretend kitchen, train table, magnatiles, riding unicorns, dress up, and more. It would be impossible for a kid to get bored. Also even the bathroom felt easy and central so you could quickly get kid in and out.
The party set up was cute, there was a low table for kids to eat and then a big crafts table for them to decorate a little box and take it home as a keepsake (thank you, I hate all the plastic stuff that ends up in a landfill).
They have a bunch of kid merch. I didn’t bring her big brother (8) because I wasn’t sure he’d like it. I showed him the videos and he said he didn’t think it was for him but I think if he’d been there he probably would have enjoyed himself. Some of the kids made floor is lava out of cushions, for example.
I asked my daughter what she thought. Here’s her take:
She liked the pretend makeup and playing with the little people dolls and riding the unicorns around. She also said she wished she could climb up to the top of the pirate boat which had two levels.

Read moreCastle and Crown has been my three yr old’s absolutely FAV place since we discovered it after recently moving to Burbank in April. They offer engaging, creative, fun classes led by the inimitable Ms Mary who always gives it 100%, gently guiding not imposing upon any child meeting them at their comfort level. She’s completely captivating and the sweetest most loving teacher. I myself been a Montessori teacher for 10+ yrs in the Irvine unified school district and this is the only place i have been completely impressed by with how they treat the children, completely impressed with the environment, and activities offered. 100%. The sweet, attentive owner has cultivated a space where kids can be kids with everything a child can dream of to nurture their brilliant imagination. The entire staff I’ve met so far has been absolutely exceptional. Tons of educational activities from puzzles to arts and crafts, costumes and dolls for imaginative play, and not to mention the stunning whimsical architecture for the children to engage with. The overall aesthetic is so pleasing it looks like a film set and they even have little snacks and refreshments for the kids and...
Read moreWe recently celebrated our five-year-old daughter's birthday party at Castle & Crown and it was a home run. From start to finish, this place delivered fun, convenience and an overall experience that delighted both our daughter and all her friends, boys and girls.
What stood out: The space itself is adorable. A full, immersive “fairytale land” with a pirate ship for kids to explore. It features a castle and so much more.
The owner and staff were super attentive and professional. They made sure that every kid was included, safe, engaged, and that the birthday girl felt like the star of the party.
The place was decorated beautifully matching the theme of our event at no cost.
The set-up makes it easy for parents: the décor, the play-zones and logistics were handled smoothly so we could relax.
It was genuinely engaging for both girls and boys. We liked that the environment wasn’t overly “just princess” nor “just action vehicle” themed. And craft time was a hit.
Communications and booking were simple, and the venue give clear information about what they offer and what to expect.
Thanks, we will...
