This so-called studio tour is nothing less than a repackaged money grab. A studio tour this is not, it's a lot tour riding around in a glorified golf cart "outside" of sound stages. Our tour did not include as much of peak inside any working soundstage. All we were offered was a glimpse of one room or building that has not been used in years so you may as well have been taken inside an empty warehouse.
If you like paying almost a $100 to visit a gift shop, museum with re-incated sound stages of Big Bang and Friends, upcharged green screen photos, and promos of previous WB pictures this is your place. Again to be clear our tour included nothing associated with a working soundstage or studio all hype and zero substance.
Do yourself a favor, read wikipedia and look at a Google Maps 3D image of the WB lot and save yourself almost $100. In addition, do not add the TCM classic upcharge unless you like throwing even more money away, it's useless and unnecessary (zero value).
To add insult to injury our tour guide stated at the start of our tour how busy the lot was that day. Not sure why that comment was necessary since we avoided any working part of the studio.
Also ignore the canned email response that may follow this negative review asking that I contact them directly for follow up. That too is a scam as if you read other reviews they never respond, it's just a way for them...
Read moreHad a good time. Our tour guide was funny and very knowledgeable. We did the VIP tour. The lounge before the tour was nice, would have been nicer if we could have sat in there longer, we arrived about 45 minutes before our tour, and had to wait until 15 minutes before our tour time before we could access the lounge. The snacks were nice, and we took some with us on the tour. The tour itself was cool, i was a little surprised that we were a VIP tour, but every where we went, we ran into the regular tours, kinda made me question our VIP experience. The lunch was ok, long line, long wait, and food was just decent. There was photo ops from an outside company that was actually horrible experience. Very rushed and the photos looked like crap. Overall i would probably recommend just doing the regular studio tour, i have done the VIP tour at Universal Studios, and it is way better, its also more expensive, but for what we paid here for a VIP experience, i don't fewl like we...
Read moreReally cool place to check out some of your favorite shows and movies. Currently, their focus is on DC Caracters, Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, Friends, Big Bang Theory, Gilmore Girls and All-American. The tour all in all takes about an hour to complete, but you can take your time and extend past the hour on the self-guided side. I highly recommend if you to go if you're a DC or Harry Potter fan. But if you're looking for something that is air conditioned for about 60% of the tour and want to experience some film nostalgia of Warner BroCafe.
Also, you can bring drinks aboard the cart ride and throughout the tour. Each cart is seated 3 per row and 2 up front. Kids must be buckled in once the cart is in motion. There I food and drinks available for purchase in the front before you enter the tour. And there is food and drinks available once you get the...
