Well, the manager at hobby lobby in Burleson, Tx. basically just accused me of stealing. I bought 3 items earlier today and only made it home with 1. 2 were small bags of jump rings totaling $3.98 total. I called and they couldn't find them by the register to just come in and they'd 'look it up for me' and get it taken care of.
So, I went in and the manager took my receipt and went to the back of the store. The cashier tells me to go ahead and grab 2 more and anything else I need. After I finished shopping I headed back to the front to get it taken care of. The manager then tells me he checked his cameras and he saw the cashier put them in the bag and me take the bag. Then it took me 6 minutes to leave the store with the bag. Seriously? He timed how long it took me to walk out. I was waiting for my mom to check out. As if that's any of his business anyway.
I don't have the jump rings. They didn't end up at home in my bag and are not in my car. He acted like I was lying and trying to get more for free over $4. I shop there ALL THE TIME. My family shops there all the time. I have never stolen a damn thing in my life. I am an honest person and being treated that way is unacceptable. I will be taking the other item i bought back and will happily purchase from Amazon or Joanns.
So, moral of the story, hobby lobby has the worst customer service. I'd rank it below Walmart and that's pretty pathetic.
This is a great way to alienate...
Read moreI am done shopping at hobby lobby. Just met the rudest young lady that is a manager in the Burleson Texas store. I use the term lady quite loosely. We have spent significant money in this store and will gladly spend that money at Michael's or Wal-Mart from now on.
When we arrived at the checkout lane, there were 2 lanes open. One lane was occupied by an aggravated customer and the other with a lady who had 2 humongous decorator flowers that the cashier couldn't figure out the price.
There were 2 employees with the cashier and the angry customer. The other cashier had repeatedly tried to get the attention of the manager lady to ask her a question. I waited patiently.
When the aggravated customer was finally finished, I stepped up to the register and the cashier and manager were still talking. I politely informed the manager that the other checker needed assistance. She did not acknowledge my statement. So I mentioned it a second time because customers were backing up. This "manager" snarled something along the lines of "yes, I know!" at that time I decided I didn't need my purchase. Hobby lobby is not the only game in town. My shadow, or debit card, will never grace your...
Read moreI recently visited Hobby Lobby and was impressed with the vast selection of products, particularly the kids' decorations and holiday-themed items. The store had a dedicated section for kids' decor, filled with colorful and fun items that would be perfect for a nursery or playroom. The holiday-themed items were also a highlight, with a wide range of decorations, crafts, and gifts available.
The store was clean and well-organized, with a clean and well-maintained restroom that was a welcome surprise. But what really stood out was the great customer service. The staff were friendly and helpful, happy to answer questions and provide assistance when needed.
I was able to find everything I needed and more, and the prices were very reasonable. The checkout process was quick and easy, and the staff were efficient and courteous. Overall, I would highly recommend Hobby Lobby to anyone looking for craft supplies, home decor, or holiday items. The store's great selection, clean facilities, and excellent customer service make it a must-visit destination. Whether you're a crafter, a parent, or just someone looking for a unique gift, Hobby Lobby is a great place to shop. I will...
