Specific review for the dog park:

Great facility with plenty of space, separate sections for large and small dogs that supplies plenty of baggies/garbage cans to make cleaning up after your dog super easy. There's an additional run behind the initial section on the large dog side, which is nice, especially if your dog is a runner or to separate dogs who aren't getting along.

I've met a lot of great, responsible dog owners along with their well-behaved pets here. I have also had a few unfortunate encounters with some not-so-responsible owners, who either had a dog-aggressive dog and weren't up front about it until an issue presented itself or who didn't clean up after their pet (if that's you, yuck, irresponsible and super lazy when there are plenty of disposable waste bags here free to use).

You just have to be on guard, use common sense, watch where you step occasionally and be wary of new dogs and people you encounter here to ensure a good experience.

The facility, on its own however, is really nice, spacious, well-kept and even has water spigots so your dog can get a nice, cold drink after playing. Such an asset if you're a dog owner. Five...

This is a relatively large public park. It is a bit dated but it seems that the park grounds crew does its best to keep it from falling completely apart. The buildings are noticeably aging but they are solid and secured.

There is a miniature golf course and a small theatre that presents local productions. You will also find a large track for waking that seems to be the largest draw for the public. Other features include an outdoor stage, children's playground, at least a dozen covered picnic areas, access to a small shallow creek capable of tubing or kayaking and even a baseball field.

All these amenities do draw a rather large crowd of people especially on the weekends but not so many as to create a bad experience.

Overall I would recommend this park to anyone who just wants to get out for a nice walk or a Sunday picnic with...

Love taking my dog here to play and walk around. I am thrilled there is a sectioned off area specifically designed for dogs to run off leash. The geese are fun to watch and the creek is pretty to look at as well. I've played the mini golf course a couple times with friends and enjoyed myself. Its a nice quiet place to have lunch under one of the pavillions or to listen to music on headphones and walk the perimeter of the grounds. My dog absolutely loves going there and so do I, especially during the fall when theres lots of leaves scattered around. The park is very well maintained as well and always is free of...

This is a Great place to take the family or just take a walk or jog. The walking path is equip for wheelchairs or strollers. There are restrooms and places for campers. There are many activities during the year and a local theater I. The park. Christmastime is beautiful! The local churches each decorate a spot!

An older park, but with lots to offer. Multiple small and large pavilions, multiple ball fields, a dog park, a campground and mini golf. Mini Golf is only $2.50 each and open till 10. The greens are worn, but for the price, who cares. We go back multiple times, and finish up at Rita's for dessert.
