Tokyo Sushi & Hibachi Restaurant — Restaurant in Burnham

We ordered 5 simple raw rolls and shrimp with garlic sauce. We waited 45 minutes for the sushi with the server not saying anything. After the table was cleared, and still no communication, we thought the shrimp was missed by the kid who took our order. After another 15 minutes of thinking we were waiting for our check, the shrimp dish arrived with nothing said. I politely asked them to just box it up because the other 2 people were completely finished and it had been over an hour.

"Is there something wrong?"

"No but everyone is finished and it's been over an hour."

When the server originally took our order we told him we were going to order a takeout dish for our son when our food came out. During one of the long waits, I just ordered takeout on my phone at the table and asked for it when paying.

Again, nothing said or offered at all other than "we tried our best." Even after $90 for 3 people. Plus a $37 takeout order.

There were only 2 other tables with people. Maybe a bunch of takeout orders came in at once, but there was no communication or thought to check on the customer. The kid who took our order just stood at the cash register with ear buds.

Absolutely the worst take out Chinese food I've ever had in my entire life. Some buffets were this bad but few. I don't understand why there are so many great reviews. People must not have experienced good Chinese food yet. The wonton soup tasted like chlorine from city water, had absolutely no seasoning or veggies in the broth and was bland with very small wontons. The "pork" egg rolls had no visible pork in them anywhere. Not a single piece. It was just chlorine soaked vegetables. They don't offer or sell pork fried rice but they sell fried rice which looks and tastes like white rice that was coated with a tablespoon of soy sauce and tossed in a pan for literally 15 secs...half my "fried" rice was just plain rice. The General Tsos Chicken tasted worse than PF Changs frozen version at the grocery store that you can microwave and get better results with. This was rubbery chewy chicken and awful. To top the whole experience off customer service was given by a young college girl talking so fast and running all her words together so often that I had to have her keep repeating herself to be coherent to what she was saying. She doesn't have a thick accent or anything, talks perfect english but far too fast and impatient. The experience came across as rushed and rude. Never ever again will I do...

we showed up with 8 people the place was not overly busy they seated us quickly but it took them over a half hour before any food started showing up then when it did start showing it was about every 10 to 15 minutes my son didnt get his food till at least an hour after I received mine 3 of us should have gotten soup and salads I had to repeatedly ask for the soup and salad at least 4 times till we got it and it didnt come out till after we finished our entree, we went at least half an hour at one point with everybody wanting a refill on there drinks and then they only filled half the tables drinks the other half waited another 15 minutes for drinks we were in there somewhere between 1-1\2 to 2 hours overall the food had a big selection but it was subpar at best I am a very generouse tipper even when I have service thats not the best but in this situation gauging my tip on how much time they were standing around and just ignoring us when i went to pay the girl told me I should enter the dollar amount on the keypad I said how do I just leave it 0 and she looked at the other server and said something in a foreign language I said up your standards and maybe you will get a tip next time it definately wont be from me we will...
