My boyfriend and I were splitting 2 meals, a sandwich and 10 wings. We werenāt sure what flavor wings we wanted, so we asked the server what the difference was between Firecracker and Nashville Hot. She said the Nashville Hot was spicier and thicker sauce, we said ok, bring that. The wings we got had a dry rub, there was no sauce at all. We didnāt like the taste of the wings as they were, so we told the waitress and asked if we could get sauce on the side. She grabbed the plate of wings on our table and said that she would bring us new wings with the sauce we requested. We waited awhile for the new wings. After we were finished, another woman who Iām assuming is a manager stopped and asked us about the wings we didnāt like. We explained everything that happened and she said she would take the wings off our check that we didnāt like. We had each tried one wing, so we ate 2 of our order of 10. When we got the check we were charged for 2 orders of wings, but one was discounted by 50% (from $12.50 to $6.25). When the waitress came back to take the payment for our check, we said that she had told us she was removing the wings. So the waitress questioned the manager and she told us she doesnāt ever remove food that people didnāt like, but since she saw that we didnāt eat 8 of the order of 10, that she took 50% off. We never requested a fresh order of wings, we just wanted sauce for the dry wings. The waitress removed the order from our table on her own, we didnāt ask her for new wings or to take the dry ones. We definitely wouldnāt have let her take them had we known that she was going to charge us for food we didnāt get the opportunity to eat. Obviously either we got the wrong description of what Nashville Hot was or we got the wrong wings. It was our first and last time. I really felt like the way the handled the situation was odd and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'm not one to complain much, but since the recent menu update and change in management the quality of the food has taken a serious decline. The burgers use to be excellent, now they seem like they are the cheap frozen ones. They removed lots of great items and replaced them with cheaper less quality foods.
About 3 weeks ago my wife and I went to dinner at JP's and the food we received was disgusting. I hate to say it like that but it's the truth. Then this past Saturday my wife and I decided to give it one more try, and the second time was not a charm. The food again was terrible. I ordered a fish sandwich, and fries, my fish filet was more like a over cooked dried up fish stick. Then the French fries which use to be good, we're soggy and greasy. My wife ordered a burger and the thing was black on the outside and red in the middle, how do you even accomplish such a thing? We barely ate our meals, we asked our server if we could speak to a manager, when she came out to talk to us the first thing she said was "so, what's the problem?" She said it in a very snarky tone, almost condescending. I told her about our issues and and all we get is "OK fine I'll adjust your bill" she never said sorry never offered and explanation nothing. I couldn't believe it. I will not ever go back now, I'm done with it. The only saving grace for the entire night was that our server was absolutely fantastic, she was very polite, and fun to talk with. She was the only one to offer any kind of apology. If it weren't for her my review would have only...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI gave this place a chance after they gave me tartar sauce with my chicken wings the last time, but this last experience was absolutely atrocious. From the beginning, the Waiter was sorta rude. There was a large group of us and the waiter asked us āso how hard are you going to make it on me tonight?ā Then the buffalo chicken dip i ordered was ice cold and tasted more like the cream cheese they put in it rather than actual buffalo dip. Next, I ordered a ribeye and the steak was lukewarm and my Mac and cheese and broccoli as sides were ice cold as well. A couple people in my group experienced cold food as well. And one person got their steak 20 minutes after everyone else had gotten their main meal which⦠you guessed it⦠came out cold as well. He sent his steak back and had it taken off the bill and there was no compassion shown from the waiter or the restaurant. Also, one person got their appetizer 10 mins after their main meal was given to them. Iāve always been a person to give the benefit of the doubt to restaurants and waiters in regards to returning after a bad experience or even giving a rude waiter a minimum 20% tip, but I just couldnāt convince myself to give a decent tip this time around and my group felt the exact same. You would think for a large group of people and the opportunity to make a great tip there would be more compassion shown from the waiter and the restaurant itself. I no longer would recommend this restaurant to anyone who visits. Many other way better options...
