I stopped in at the store today to pay my bill. For some reason auto pay got disconnected from my account and didn't get notification till March 7 4:38am, bill was due March 6th. They shut off my phone at midnight March 6th. I asked them why they did that Verizon at least gives you 48hrs to pay bills especially over the weekend. They responded that we aren't Verizon, then asked why I have to buy another phone already after another yr. Ray's response was "we give you a better price for what you buy if you don't like it go back to Verizon". My response was not tactful but I threw my phone on the ground and said you can have my junk phone, Sir you have bad customer service I'll gladly go back to Verizon if I have to buy a new phone every yr. You sell me a junk $300 Motorola phone that you said last yr was the best out because I refuse to go to the iphone. Phone freezes up 20 times a day, pops up saying can't load wait, or app wait or something else can't load or I have to reset it. I cleaned it up and reset it to factory reset and still does the same garbage. called customer service support and just got hung up on so next month back to Verizon for $125 vs $105 new phones that last at least 2 yrs.    Read moreI've been a member of Cricket for just a little bit over 6 months now, and have to say that I am pleasantly surprised! I even got a tremendous deal on a new phone, and am planning to upgrade again in the very near future!
The only minor drawback is sometimes their Wi-Fi will go out "here and there" for a few seconds, and then will immediately pop right back up. For example, you may have to repeat a command in the phone maybe once or twice more in order for it to appear on the screen and process correctly. While this may be a slight annoyance, I really do not blame Cricket for this, and feel that it really isn't that big of a deal to me.
Another cool thing with Cricket are both the incentives and rewards that Cricket will offer you in order to help reduce your bill (should you choose to partake in those activities).
Also, the people who work there are both very patient, courteous, professional, and will go the extra mile to try to help you as long as you show them the proper respect.

   Read moreI went to the store because we were having issues with text messages. If our phone was turned off, we wouldn't receive the texts after we turned our phone on. The lady (I didn't get her name) was so nice, and she was busy, it was over the lunch hour so part of the time she was alone. She got this problem figured out by process of elimination, which took her at least 45 minutes to do . She then asked me if my speaker to my ear worked. I said "No it hasn't worked for at least a year and a half I told her I took it to the Cricket store at the mall and they told me I needed a new phone". She said " of course they did". She then cleaned the speaker area with an alcohol pad and a toothbrush, she then called me with her phone and I could hear her without having to turn on the speaker, which I had been doing for a year and a half.
