Morgantown Market — Attraction in Caernarvon Township

I enjoyed browsing the unique shops in this market, as my sister-in-laws and I spent a day going to various antique markets around the county. I was checking out with my purchases, noticed the clerks were not friendly and not even making eye contact, and that an officer was viewing their cameras from around the store. After I paid for my items, I was stopped by the officer and was searched, to my absolute shock. I had taken a picture with my phone of an item during my browsing that I sent to someone, thinking it may be something they'd like, and then put my phone into my purse following that, and for that they alerted the officer and had me searched. That was the only thing I could think of why they viewed me suspiciously. No apologies were made by the clerks, after nothing was found beyond my own personal items. I have been visiting the Morgantown Market for a few years since discovering it. I love that it is open 7 days a week giving everyone with nontraditional work schedules the chance to shop. The outside front of the shop is lined with interesting items that will trigger your interest even more of what is inside. Check out all the rooms upstairs and downstairs and you won't be disappointed. Study the displays that are masterfully merchandised and realistic where something for everyone just awaits its new home. I like to walk around several times each visit to take it all in and see the vast selection from all angles. The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is very enjoyable. Came in to the store after having a pleasant experience at the Mill Property next door. Was around 4:10, knowing they close at 5. We were not greeted, and were told they close at 5. We left at 4:45, feeling rushed out, and the staff followed us out and immediately closed the store early. Not friendly staff at all! Items were overpriced & the store is also composed of more decor/home goods items rather antiques. Would not recommend if you are looking...
