Montadero Chocolate — Attraction in Caguas

Our family traveled to Montedero Chocolate, about 45 min from our hotel in San Juan. Chocolatier Hermando took the time to show our grands a fresh cacao fruit, cut it open, and let them smell and taste the fruit. He explained the whole process with little samples of cacao seeds, husks, and nibs, allowing them to taste test those as well. The coffee was divine, and the chocolates were out of this world. We had a hazelnut chocolate tart, chocolate, panacotta, chocolate cookies, a chocolate bomb ornament, and their three flavors of chocolate bars. Kid tested and approved! We bought boxes of chocolate and cacao...

Recientemente realize una compra en este establecimiento donde, el producto no es nada especial para su costo. Dicho esto, la propina es sumamente inecesaria, considerando el hecho de que la atencion es simplemente depositar los bombones en una cajita, te preguntan si quieres dejar propina, pero es el 15% obligatorio ya que supuestamente la computadora solo registra el 15%, lo que es una total mentira ya que el cliente decide porcentaje. Es una falta de respeto al consumidor que ya pagando algo a precio absurdo, te mienten descaradamnet ya que la maquina tiene epara customizar la cantidad. Una verguenza, triste la avaricia y peor la mentira a quien esta patrocinando el negocio. No importa si el chocolate viene del cielo, el precio es absurdo y pedir propina tambien. Regardles if the chocolate comes from heaven, prices are insane and abusive and asking tips is disrispectfull.. have a nace day. I recently made a purchase at this establishment where the product is nothing special for its price. That said, the tip is extremely unnecessary, considering the fact that the service is simply placing the chocolates in a little box, they ask you if you want to leave a tip, but the 15% is mandatory since supposedly the computer only records 15%, which which is a total lie since the client decides the percentage. It is a lack of respect for the consumer that, already paying something at an absurd price, they blatantly lie to you since the machine has the ability to customize the quantity. A shame, sad the greed and worse the lie to whoever is sponsoring...

We had a truly amazing experience at Montadero Chocolate during a recent company outing. Everyone loved having the opportunity to create our own custom chocolate bars, along with the great masterclass that German gave us. German was an excellent host who went above and beyond during our visit. I highly recommend visiting Montadero Chocolate, whether for a casual visit or for a group outing. Their chocolate creations are delicious! They have nothing to envy against...
