I did not like the service at all here. In general, I know that at most GameStop's, the employees are going to be a bit, let's say unique.. however, at this particular GameStop, I experienced a new level. The 2 people who were in there were indifferent and inattentive (to put it nicely) and when I asked about one of the newest game systems, the guy with the glasses (harry potter-like in so many ways) gave me short, clipped responses, and acted very put out when I was just trying to get info on a 400$ system that I would potentially be buying for my son for Christmas. I literally decided to go ahead and buy the thing, because it was just what I was looking for.... yet, when I tried to get someone to help me and to get it out of the display or in the back or whatever, I was all but ignored for about 10 minutes while the now 3 employees present were either on their phone, or typing away at their computer terminals. I walked out in a huff, and will never return there, I assure you. Save your time, patience and dignity and go anywhere but...

It was a hassle to get the game as I was not the one that placed the preorder. The preorder did not state this to be the case and said I only needed the confirmation which I did have at the time. Anyway, I was able to get the game after having to leave at first over their refusal to perform the simple transaction. Nonetheless I even did have to remind the 2 gentlemen about the preorder incentives for which my friend preordered the game for in the first place. The fact that I have to remind them about the preorder incentives for a Pokèmon title of all games seems to be an anomaly of incompetence. I bought a game new full price and the disc was out of the case the store clerc at the counter put in the disc from a paper sleeve. I get it that's fine you have to display and theifs are a thing. However I get home and disc doesn't work at all my ps4 works perfectly the disc was bad. I go to return it and they won't take it back. because it was open. The store opened the disc not me. I bought it new already opened. That was my mistake. In the end though the manager (who was very helpful and not his fault following store policy) refunded me total in credit which was nice but only after I complained. Game stops are corrupt.
