Forestville Youth Park — Attraction in California

Its a bathroom stop for me. Have noticed gophers mounds all over the place. The play area no upkeep the bark is low low low under swings and high around edge no drainage it floods the play area unusable after a good rain the play area. All in all not a bad park there are three fields big ball field in front with confession behind that is football soccer and across is little league. And the soccer also has little league. Good parking ease of access off main road is a little lacking its laid out well. There is a bbq building with picnic benches around the grass area between ball field and main road. The Forestville Youth Park (FYP) is a privately owned community park that gets its funds from the annual park BBQ and annual Outhouse Race Golf Tournament. The original Xtreeme Outhouse Race was initiated by Bruce Witt, instead of golf, we raced home-made outhouses on wheels when I was a kid.

What there is: -Big playground -Baseball (3 fields) -Soccer (1 field) -Expansive BBQ pits and grills

This being one of only two parks in the United States that is not Federally funded and is supported solely by the park fund raisers one that this year 2022 is June 4th and 5th the Forestville Chicken/Steak BBQ check it out it's always a fun time lots to do for the kids and plenty of fun for the grown folks too Soda,Beer Wine and Live music so put on your fun face and have fun I always do I've been attending for atleast 40 years and have never had a bad time there.
