Ryme Cellars Tasting Room — Attraction in Forestville

This isn’t just a place to come for a tasting—it’s a place worth becoming a member of. It truly feels like a community: amazing vibes, great people, and great energy. I’ve been a member for two years, and there’s a reason for that.

Their portfolio focuses mainly on Italian varieties, and the range is wonderfully diverse—from sparkling and white to skin-contact, light, and bold reds. As a member, it’s great to always have a dynamic rotation rather than receiving the same thing every quarter. Their wines tend to lean toward minimal intervention, resulting in fresh, expressive, fruit-forward bottles that are simply delicious.

But the most impressive thing they offer is their team. Small but mighty, they not only run RYME but also support their staff’s personal brands, and they truly engage with their community. Their pickup parties are always a blast, and the food never disappoints.

My favorite winery! I live in sonoma county and this is the BEST place to bring friends and family who are visiting. The wines are super approachable enough for newbies but also beloved by people who really know wine, at an incredible price point, and made by the NICEST humans. The service is tops. 10/10 experience every time. Also forestville and the surrounding area is SO cute and a little more off the beaten path for those who want something more unique in wine country....

We stumbled upon the RYME vermentino ("hers") and aglianico rose at The Wine Vault, a great wine shop in Guernville, and enjoyed them so much we had to come in for a tasting. What a wonderful wine tasting experience! Loved the unique, tasty and reasonably priced wines. The Carneros pinot and Luna Matta aglianico were favorites.
