Joyce Winery — Attraction in California

Joyce Wine Tasting Room in Carmel Valley Village is a great place to taste well crafted, balanced, elegant local wine. We did a tasting yesterday and were impressed by the wines and the experience. Our host, Kerry, a highly regarded wine educator, was both knowledgeable and gracious. The line-up included chardonnay, pinot noir, syrah and cabernet. The Tondre Syrah was my personal favorite as it reminded me of the fabulous syrah from the Northern Rhone region of France. These wines are not the typical California high alcohol fruit bombs. We had a great time visiting the winery and enjoyed the wine, which is why we decided to order online after returning home.

After weeks of not receiving the order though, I contacted the office. Apparently, there was an "oversight" on our order. They shipped the wine and their email response read..."I apologize and look forward to providing you with better service in the future". And that was that.

We rented the beautiful room next to the tasting room for my daughters Baby Shower & it was spectacular! The room is beautiful, perfect for around 20 with a gorgeous table & chairs that comfortably seat 20. The chandelier & Winery design with its barrel tables & chic sofa & side chairs speaks for itself & allows you to cater it how you would like. It also has AC and Charlotte is awesome!
