Have been a member of Boekenoogen for quite a while and loved the wine and service we have always received at the tasting room. McIntyre came in and purchased one of our favorite wineries, which will make anyone nervous, but we were more than pleasantly happy with the change and couldn't be more pleased with what McIntyre has brought into our local wine tasting family. Everyone at the tasting room is fantastic, knowledgeable and ready to share their experiences of the wineries and the area. There is so much to share and we love chatting with them about so much about their wines and what best goes with each of them.    Read moreDisappointed. I chose this place because of good reviews. It was our first tasting in Carmel valley. My husband and I had 2 flights, he tried 5 whites I was trying 5 reds. All options were of the same taste, really watery, no aftertaste, no bouquet, nothing. Felt like all wines were from the same bottle. White tasted the same. I was so upset because it was not just our first winery but our first time in Carmel valley. But after that we visited 3 more tasting room and ended up buying wines in every one except this. We didn't love every wine, and that seems appropriate for authentic creations from a range of winemakers that they work with.
