The streaming situation on the LED tvs is non-existent & it’s decorated with things a hoarder would have picked up at a rummage sale, but the beds are insanely comfortable & you’re better off here than the Hyatt or even La Playa frankly. Okay maybe not La Playa but def Cypress Inn or Bernardus.

It’s clearly not a chain hotel & the aesthetic is “hearts & flowers & friends” but there are modern luxuries that bigger places are just catching on to; like a water filtration machine by the rad, clean pool to refil your reusable water bottles in an environmentally responsible way. And a bean bag toss game. And great semi-private forested patios with super comfy chairs to read & relax & do some writing in the clean, fresh CV air. Or a super luxe fireplace inside the room to keep toasty on crisp valley nights. The sheets are micro-fiber, but that doesn’t bother me here for some reason & that notwithstanding are very soft. The skincare products are basic but modern & smell quite nice. Bonus stars for other thoughtful touches like misc, clean “rag” towels that come in handy to de-grub the occasional paw after a walk in the great little park within walking distance & the oversize & plush pool towels. Yoga on weekends too even which sounds divine outside with the gorgeous canyon views.

For what it’s worth I am a Bonvoy Gold Elite level & stay at a LOT of hotels for travel-this one is a place I look forward to returning for the peacefulness & comfort of the crazy comfortable beds. I was more comfortable here than at the Ritz Half Moon Bay. As such, the style choices I am able to overlook. They aren’t dated, just not super hip I guess I would say. Or super cohesive. Which is more my personal hangup & your opinion may in all likelihood vary. Regardless it doesn’t affect the high level of cleanliness or comfort here. I can hang with watching Sanditon on my phone for a night & the charms of local cable to experience those lovely Zzzzs at this little lodge in the Valley. Highly recommend this hidden gem for comfort,...

My recent stay at Carmel Valley Lodge was nothing short of spectacular. Nestled amidst the breathtaking landscapes of Carmel Valley, this charming property provided the perfect retreat during my golfing trip to Pebble Beach.

From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the serene ambiance and lush greenery surrounding the lodge. The grounds are impeccably maintained, showcasing the natural beauty of the region in every corner. Walking through the property felt like strolling through a botanical garden, with vibrant flowers and towering trees creating a peaceful atmosphere.

The accommodations were equally impressive. My room was tastefully decorated, combining rustic charm with modern amenities for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail was evident, from the plush bedding to the thoughtfully curated decor that reflected the lodge's rustic elegance.

One of the highlights of my stay was the tranquility that permeated the entire property. Despite being in close proximity to popular attractions like Pebble Beach, the lodge offered a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Whether I was lounging by the pool or enjoying a quiet moment on the patio, I felt completely relaxed and rejuvenated.

The staff at Carmel Valley Lodge deserves special recognition for their warm hospitality and exceptional service. From the moment I checked in, they went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was memorable. Their genuine care and attention to detail truly enhanced my experience, making me feel welcomed and valued as a guest.

In conclusion, I can't recommend Carmel Valley Lodge highly enough for travelers seeking a tranquil oasis amidst the natural splendor of Carmel Valley. Whether you're visiting for golf in Pebble Beach or simply seeking a peaceful getaway, this hidden gem offers an unparalleled experience that will leave you longing to return. I can't wait to plan my next stay at Carmel Valley Lodge and immerse myself in its serene...

What a beautiful location! The multitude of lovely and unique blossoms surrounding the property made for a stunning welcome (and we realize the amount of time and effort required to make this happen). The gentleman who checked us in described all the features of the lodge in perfect detail, gave us restaurant recommendations, and even supplied welcome dog treats for our pups. |The room was spacious and clean, with the fluffiest of bath linens and a large mini-fridge with freezer! And how smart to include “clean-up towels” for the pups so that we didn’t have to use those fluffy towels. It also featured a charming sitting area on the patio, and a beautiful pool.|The “continental” breakfast the next morning was much more than expected, with hot oatmeal, yummy breakfast breads and waffles with fresh fruit. And what a beautiful garden space to enjoy one’s morning meal!|The location is perfect, with just a short walk to town for a nice selection of restaurant options.|And being pet friendly, this was the perfect place for our stay. The experience was one we look forward to repeating the next time we are...

The room seemed to be furnished with thrift store furniture and “art.” The oversized bathroom door opened in a very awkward way, and the extra large room that contained toilet and tub/shower was poorly planned. The bathroom has a red light, not a heat lamp, which was sorely needed, but a red light. And, what is that RAG?? Service? Upon check in, just after 6pm, we asked for restaurant recommendations. We went to the top recommended one, and it was just closing. At 7pm! Why did the check in clerk tell us to go there, or at least warn us of its closing time?? I decided that, if the included breakfast had been decent, I wouldn’t review, but here we are. The coffee was luke warm. We asked the attendant to microwave it, but it still was not hot. The scones were served from the refrigerator. The best thing about the breakfast was the deviled eggs.

Great pictures of the property on their web page. No coffee pot, no one answers the phone in tbe office. Screen door off, bathroom window no screen, old wall heater on and hot, no a/c, No pool towels, no microwave, insecure wifi, . Bed was great. Called the front desk at 7pm, then the night managers numbet, even called them from an outside phone. No answer! Run down and no support. I feel an absentee ownership is possible.

Very cute hotel in Carmel Valley. We got the king room and it was roomy and clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The electric fireplace was a nice touch. There was a little patio with table and chairs in front of the room. The lady at the lobby was very nice and friendly. The little garden in front of the hotel was very cute. And it’s a dog friendly hotel so we could bring our fur baby.
