Oh my goodness, I have sooo much to say about this God send of a grocery store. First and foremost, you can find ALL KINDS OF STUFF HERE!!! Organics, fresh (never expired or rotten) produce, bulk cereals, chips, cookies, breads, cheese, meats, fresh fruit, candy, baking goods, cooking oils, canned items, shampoo, body wash, etc etc ETC!!! And the place is small enough to shop in without getting exhausted from pushing a heavy full cart through (most grocery stores are large, so having to push a heavy cart down the aisles just to get your items is a hassle and hard on the back) the staff are very friendly, and the OH MY GOODNESS THE PRICES!!!! They are sooo affordable! I saved $200 here once, 2 CART FULLS OF ITEMS! You must spread the word around of this amazing God send of a grocery store, it’s soo much more affordable than every other grocery store around, it’s small enough to not feel tired from pushing around a cart full of items, the staff are very kind and friendly, the lines are small, and their items, as amazing as the prices really are, aren’t expired or close to expiration, it’s all fresh. You can buy your favorite brands here at HALF THE PRICE you usually buy them at any other grocery store. Please please spread the word of this store to friends, family, and neighbors. You must check...
Read moreI’m hesitant to write this because this is an independently owned store that is a nice addition to Camarillo. I visited there a few days ago and was not happy with their precautions regarding COVID19. I greatly appreciate all the other grocery stores sanitizing the carts and the employees all wearing masks. However, the Grocery Outlet was not doing this. They did have wipes for me to sanitize my own cart. But upon entering I had to wait outside for a few minutes while an employee NOT wearing a mask was standing in the entrance loudly conversing with a customer. Later during shopping this same employee NOT wearing a mask was in the aisle loudly talking with another employee. I say “loudly” because of the evidence of a person spreading the virus more through loud talking, laughing etc. I did not feel comfortable or confident shopping in a store where this was allowed. I realize that this is just my opinion but my shopping will be done elsewhere where the stores concern for the customer is clearly shown.
Grocery Outlet, Thank you for your reply below but my experience was NOT as you claim. The time I visited the store was Sunday, May 24 between 4:00 and 4:30 and the employee mentioned was NOT wearing a mask and there was NO employee...
Read moreThis is always a fantastic place to shop. The staff is usually 99% helpful, friendly, and pleasant, except for my encounter with "Arnie." The customer before me was warmly greeted and thanked at the conclusion of their transaction. A friend of mine, who was behind me, received the same courteous treatment. However, when it was my turn, "Arnie" failed to acknowledge me. I greeted him with a friendly, "Hi, how are you today?" but was met with complete silence. He didn't even inform me of the total; I simply paid the amount displayed on the screen and waited for my receipt. Suddenly, "Arnie" shouted, "YOUR RECEIPT!" as if I had missed his initial comment, which I had not. My friend, who witnessed this, looked just as shocked as I felt. There is absolutely no justification for such behavior from anyone, and it was clearly directed at me without any reason. I don't care what issues he may have; there is no excuse for representing your store in such a manner. I informed my friend If I enter the store again and see that individual, I will promptly leave and return only when he is not present. I dont deserve that,...
