Painting with a Twist — Attraction in Camarillo

Five stars all around! This place is amazing! My wife and I booked our spots for Valentine’s Day and it was the best date we’ve had in a very long time. All the staff are kind, fun, polite and very helpful. The set up and vibe in the studio was really nice too. They have a bar that serves beer and wine, soda pop and water and snacks too, which is a bit over priced though (a bag of cornuts was $4.00 and a Baby Ruth candy bar was also $4.00) but the service was great. You can bring your own snacks, we saw another couple bring a plate of crackers and cheese and fruit. They provide all the art supplies as well as a canvas that you’ll paint on and aprons to help you not get dirty. They play good music and have fun games in between and during the painting session, where you can win prizes. My wife and I ended up winning a really cool and neat free painting. The instructor was awesome and fun and she has a great friendly sweet personality. She gives painting instructions on stage and she has a microphone so you’ll be able to hear her instructions just fine and they have a tv screen on the wall showing you every painting step along the way so you won’t miss nothing. The staff walks around too helping you out and giving you more paint and art supplies if you need them. Having the opportunity to meet other people was fun too. You get to sit next to others as well as the company you come with. Overall the entire art studio was amazing! The experience alone was amazing and my wife and I will definitely be coming back for another date. They have classes for every occasion and group sessions and party sessions for adults. The restrooms are easily accessible and clean. Parking is convenient and easy to find too. Come early before your session so you can get settled in and get your drinks. They have silhouette paintings that you can have fun with and put your face up to and take pictures and post on social media or to just have for your memories. They take a group picture after the class which is free and they send it to you through your email that you booked the art session with, it’s neat to have as a reminder of good times. They also walk around the art studio during the session taking pictures of everyone and everything that’s going on to have for their social media and art studio. You will definitely have lots of fun at this studio and taking home your painting is really cool too. Five stars for this art studio and everything it represents. This place is amazing! My wife has been wanting to do one of these for quite some time and I looked all over the web for a fun spot. I found this place and we did a black light painting and added in the "create your won candle". My wife and I had the best time! The instructor Mariel was so fun, personable and kept things very light. It was not a paint lesson, just fun. Sam was the bartender and helped out throughout the event. Have a couple drinks and get your paint on! Do not worry about negative reviews regarding the wine selection, this is not a bar and the point is to paint and have a little booze with it. The prices are beyond fair for the time you are there and the service you get. My wife and I will be going back with some of our friends....

Came here for Valentine’s Day with my boyfriend, it was our first time coming here. The step-by-step painting instruction was great and pretty easy to follow. We arrived 15 minutes late due to incorrect Apple Map directions (led us to the middle of a field). Once we arrived, the staff was very accommodating and stood by with us while we got caught up in the painting. The drinks are okay, I would recommend just getting a beer or glass of wine, not a specialty cocktail. Our painting ended up AMAZING and is something we will have forever! Very fun atmosphere and friendly staff.
