Loud, stinky, badly managed by an inconsiderate manager. We went there on Saturday night- early (6-ish) Hardly anyone else in the place. There were 9 of us in the back corner booth. There was a hockey game on. I understand it was an important game but there didn't appear to be more than 2 or 3 guys really watching it at the bar. SO LOUD WE COULD NOT THINK or talk to each other. Not only the sports broadcast, but EVERY COMMERCIAL WAS SCREAMING AT US FROM 3? 4 GIANT TVs?!?!?! Asked the waitress (Francesca- very nice) to please turn it down. She said she would tell 'them' Nope still blaring I asked for the manager- blond gal sitting at the bar. I told her- 'we are going to leave if this doesn't get turned down. We cannot talk to each other.' She said 'oh sure, will turn it down'. Walked off and I noticed no change. My friend said it went down a tiny bit. The place smells like dirty dish water. I ordered the Michalado- said yes to spicy- I can handle a lot of spice. I tasted like 7-up, tomato juice and Tabasco. Couldn't taste the tequila. Way too spicy. I asked for water instead, gave my drink to the birthday boy. Waitress came back with a red plastic glass of water. Which had a split in the bottom that leaked down onto my and my friends lap.
I don't know who that manager was but she did not care that we were suffering the loud, obnoxious commercials. Hockey ended. Some other random sport show came blasting on- skateboards or something. No one in the restaurant appeared to be watching at all. My friends food (and all our drinks) took a considerable amount of time to come out. They were not, I'm not kidding, even 1/3 full. I left. I will never go there again. Yolandas or Money Pancho would be better. The folks at Money Pancho at least care about their customers and try to run a...
Read moreThe service here SUCKS!!! I really love the food, it’s yummy, but horrible service is never okay, and it’s always horrible service.
I sent back my fajitas because they were well done, I asked for rare. They ALWAYS overcook the fajitas, third time I’ve asked for it rare that this has happened. Bartender didn’t even bother to check on me, seemed oblivious that I sent my food back. Then I needed a refill on iced tea and he’s freaking texting. I timed him, too. Over 5 minutes before he walked over to where I was, but only to pour beer. Removed my ice from the well without a word, not even to offer to refill. Had to ask the server to get me a new one. Then after I’d had my food for over 15 minutes he finally asked how it was. And was dropping f-bombs. Come on bro. Wasn’t busy, but they only cater to drunks that sit at the bar. Guess the fact that I always tip over 20% just...
Read moreBeen here two times. The first time I went at night and it was packed, extremely packed! We ordered drinks and food. Our drink orders came out quickly, but the food took a while ( understandable since it was so busy, but longer than I would of liked to wait). The second time I went in the afternoon and it wasn't half as crowded as my first experience (probably because I went in the afternoon). This time the food and drinks were brought out quickly for us. The food is amazing and I have enjoyed everything that I have tryed. Would I go back again, the answer is YES. Would I recommend this place to someone. The answer is once again YES. Pros: friendly staff, good music, great food!! and nice layout for a bar/restraunt(cantina). Cons: wish the salsa was better. Wasn't great, almost thought it was something I could of bought at the store. Otherwise that is just...
