Went to try out the tennis courts for the 1st time with my partner but ended up leaving less than 20 mins later thanks to racism. When we got there, we waited for a court to open and no one else was waiting. 15 mins into playing, a Karen walks onto the court and asks us when we’ll be done. I tell her that we just got there. She goes on to “inform” us that her racket was in the fence and that means they were next in line for a court. Mind you, there was no one else waiting when we got there and we don’t know of some rule that you stick your racket in the fence as a waitlist lol. We told her we’d be another 10 mins and her and her little posse stared as the entire time until we just left. It was extremely uncomfortable and felt targeted. Sucks cos the courts...

Read moreThis is an excellent local park that is well-maintained with the exception of of the bathrooms which are not clean very well and really run down. There has never been soap to wash your hands with.
It has its own tennis courts, restrooms, kids playground, picnic tables, party areas, and soccer field.
There is at least one doggy bag dispenser which motivates animal owners to clean up after their dogs. One bad thing is that every time I have gotten recently there are dogs off of the leases even though that is not permitted in the park.
