Cronies Sports Grill — Restaurant in Camarillo

Other than some decent looking waitresses the food that I have had so far is overpriced and terrible. The bloody Mary is not that good either. One morning I tried the menudo, terrible, did not uses any stock and the broth was watery and spicy and lacked flavor. The intestines had a fowl taste to them and they were not prepared properly. I returned the order and asked for a turkey sandwich which was served to me with a long hair in it, I asked them to remake the sandwich. On another visit I ordered the chicken soup, once again a bland stock-less broth, and they served it with chicken wings, you would have to grab a wing with your fingers out of the hot broth, and the little drum-lets had bones in them.They were bragging to me about how good their chef was. This place serves food worse then Dennys, and they're a total rip off. I have had better sandwiches at Subway. They must be writing their own reviews because this place is a JOKE!!!!! One of their WAITRESSES has a yeast infection across her chest. The customers at the bar are MARRIED-DRUNKEN-PERVERTS trying to get in the pants of the waitresses, and if you stand up for the waitresses they will bump you in the head on their way out...

Not really sure why a lot of locals rave about this place and why it has such great reviews on here, I've been to cronies twice and it was pretty bland/meh type of food. I honestly felt like I could make better food at my house than what they serve here. I wonder if people are just drunk when they're here so everything just tastes a lot better to them? Haha, that might be a reasonable explanation for some of the good reviews here. Nothing really against this place, I just think it's super mediocre and not really worth the money of going out to eat at. Although, I haven't tried their wings so maybe those are really good, but every sandwich I've had here has been pretty blah. Just want to give all you other yelpers a heads up because I'd want to know this too. Lots of TVs and Beer to watch the games though, so...

It’s a pub in a strip mall. Sat in the outside tent and was surprised at how crowded it was.

Service is top notch. Every person that worked there asked if you needed refills on drinks or anything else every time they walked by.

Had mozzarella sticks as an appetizer and a chili cheeseburger for lunch. The friends had beef tacos and cheese quesadillas. Beers were cold and in big goblets.
