Fulmore Park — Attraction in Cambridge

This is a neighborhood park that allows chickens and a rooster that live run all over the park. Parents let their toddlers relieve themselves in the play area. I just walked by and saw a parent slip a kid's training diaper off him and have him pee on the mulch. If you live nearby you can hear the rooster crow early in the morning. Don't these things violate City of Cambridge health codes? If so the City doesn't enforce the laws at Fulmore Park. I wouldn't let my kids play there. Wish they would get rid of...

We’ve been coming to this park with our toddler for almost three years—mainly because of the chickens! We even used to call it 'Fulmore Chicken Park.' The chickens just go about their day, peacefully pecking for bugs, and they’re especially gentle around little kids. Even when toddlers get really close, they’ve never shown any signs of aggression. Kids love playing at this park BUT it’s unacceptable that the chickens and rooster roam free. I wanted to love the idea of the chicken park but the chickens will attack you if you eat at the park.
