The first thing you realize when you step into the restaurant is the strong fishy smell. when I had ordered takeout I noticed it but didn't pay much attention. Today we dined in and the smell is everywhere. We tried changing places but there was another muggy smell around the bamboo lined seats. Next thing is the sticky tables like someone spilled syrup and hastily cleaned up. In my opinion, the restaurant is badly managed and we saw one of the chef or helper preparing the vegetables on the table of a booth. He went chop, chop with his cleaver cutting up cucumbers and other vegetables, perhaps for the teppanyaki dishes right in front of us. There were no other guest in the restaurant at the time. The waitress was kind to listen to our needs but could be a bit more English speaking/understanding. The food was brought out quickly and it was delicious. There's a lot in the bento boxes and we could not finish everything. Obviously we must have had a lot of appetizers to start with. The teriyaki stuff is obviously deep fried/oily and also fill you up fast. You can't stop eating them once you start. Overall it is a good place to eat if you don't mind the smell, sticky surfaces and the other distractions.

The Boston area has many delicious sushi restaurants...Bisuteki is not one of them. After a long day, we decided to try this restaurant as it was conveniently situated in the hotel we were staying in. The restaurant is large with 4 or 5 hibachi tables at the center of the room and standard seating around the perimeter. At 7pm on Friday night, we were one of three standard tables seated. Our waitress seemed to be in a rush to turn over our table and get us to leave. I will say that the other staff we encountered were delightful. The food and drinks were disappointing, to say the least. Most flavors were off-putting, especially the dressing included with the house salad. It had a strong vinegar taste which overpowered the rest of the ingredients. Unfortunately, the drinks were very weak. One thing I really did enjoy was the Black Widow Roll; it was beautifully presented, tasted fresh, and I loved the added crunch of the sweet potato. Our bill was high and while I don't mind paying for good quality, I think Bisuteki was overpriced for what we were served. I would recommend dining at another sushi restaurant in the area as they are easy to find.

We had an "okay" time.. and NOT due to this place in ANY way. We had an okay time because of all of us who were there in our party. The food was good but not as good as other Hibachi locations we'd been to. We went to celebrate a birthday..and the chefoffered no sake or any games of ANY kind.. ya know, that you normally take part in. It's one of the greatest reasons for celebrating birthdays at these types of places. We asked for spicy mayo, the waitress said, SC I'm quoting her here: "No. Maybe later." Seriously?? Someone else didn't get their rice until we were paying the check, even though she asked several times. The chef literally yelled at us, and not in a playful way, to bring our plates closer to him.. I'm pretty sure the filet mignon was strip steak.. and we waited a hour and a half after we were seated, before we even saw the chef. I could go on, but I'll spare you all the misery. I'm giving this place a 3 star rating.. but again, ONLY because of the company that was kept. Honestly, we ask should have gone to my house.. we would have had a great meal, drinks and a MUCH better time. IM SURE OF IT!

Absolutely awful experience. The food had ZERO flavor and the hibachi chef was incredibly rude to us. He had 0 energy or fun, even the kids at our table were bored. He was rude because he actually yelled at my boyfriend in a super rude tone because he wanted everyone to move their plates up to give him food so he put steak on my boyfriends plate and when my boyfriend started pulling it back and saying something to me the chef goes “HELLO??!!” in the NASTIEST tone to put ONE more piece of steak on the plate… it was bizarre. When he came out and asked if anyone else got noodles we asked him if he could get more (we didn’t realize the $30 hibachi only came with steak and vegetables) and he just said “NO! TOO LATE!” again in a super rude tone. I get that we should’ve paid closer attention but it was clearly not too late as he didn’t even start cooking most of the food. He sucked and his food was awful. He didn’t even put seasoning on any of the food except some soy sauce…. It was disgusting and I will absolute never eat there again and recommend against anyone else going there either. We were also rushed out and had people keep coming and asking if they could box the food before we were done and asking if we could pay right that second. Garbage service and food. I really wish we stayed to demand a refund or some sort of compensation for a ruined Valentine’s Day dinner but the line to talk to the only host was huge and we just wanted to get out of there. We weren’t expecting the absolute most and decided to go here instead of somewhere fancy for Valentine’s Day for the fun of it and it ended up being the worst decision.

Would give 0...

We stayed at the adjacent hotel. I ate here all four nights giving them the benefit of the doubt. The first night the food was good, service was okay. I ate at the grill but ordered a side of fried rice which came from the kitchen. There was a clear distinction between the food quality and taste. The food prepared at the grill was far superior. The second time I went with my wife and we ate at the grill. It was okay. The chef service was not the best. There were egg shells in the fried rice. Food would fall into the grease drain and would be moved back onto the main cooking surface. The third time I had lunch alone at the grill and no issues. Food and service was good. The fourth and final time, again egg shells in the fried rice. My wife ordered a coke, didn’t take a sip and decided she wanted water instead so I drank her coke. The waitress as with all other three visits refilled the beverage several times during the dining experience. All of the other times we were not charged extra for refills for a soft drink which is standard at most sit down restaurants. When we get the bill we each were charged for a soft drink. My wife explained that she didn’t take a single sip and the waitress tried to say we had a refill and they don’t do free refills on sodas. If that’s the case (which again, this was my fourth time dining in and each time I had multiple refills on sodas) you don’t just bring refills without asking if a refill is desired and if desired letting the patron know of the additional charge. This was poor business practices and we will not...

Imagine it’s your father‘s 70th birthday party. You make a reservation two weeks in advance for a very large group, and you bring cake and everything. You get to the restaurant well in advance of your 7 o’clock dinner reservation with only 4 people out of a group of 18 missing from your party. The four people that originally were missing arrive by 7:15, and now that the whole group is here, our party should’ve been seated. But the exact opposite happens. The hostess, then blames us for arriving 15 minutes after our reservation time (even though this is quite normal, and remember we had made a reservation two weeks in advance so they were fully knew they had to seat us) even though the majority of our party was present. We then wait for an hour and a half because the table we were supposed to be seated at was given to multiple different other groups. By an hour and a half, all 18 of us are still waiting in the lobby of this restaurant. Again this was my father‘s 70th birthday party, and the hostess was incredibly rude and didn’t even care to apologize or give any sympathy for the situation. After so much exhaustion and stress, we decide to leave and order takeout to celebrate my father’s birthday at home. This is one of the most terrible experiences I have ever had in my entire life for a restaurant. If you are planning to have a birthday party here, please do yourself a favor and do not have it. You will have a much much better time getting takeout and...
