Fun Antiques is the perfect moniker for this amazing shop! Proprietor, Jerry warmly welcomes me each time I go in the shop. Jerry is a treasure trove , and is always willing and happy to give me the VIP treatment.I feel like I got the golden ticket, and the Willy Wonka tour. If you go into this shop , take your time. Look at EVERYTHING! There are so many things that will catch your eye. I’ll spot a glass and i hold it while Jerry enthusiastically explains where the glass was made and by whom.Jerry’s knowledge is boundless. He knows everything about every item , and he clearly loves what he does. Read moreI just called this guy to see if he could repair a vintage lamp I sold that arrived to my customer with the socket loose and bent. I am still in shock at how this man spoke to me, talking over me, saying over and over he did not want to buy anything I was selling. What? I don't call people to sell things, I needed to hire him to fix something. He said to call back later, I was trying to ask what would be a good time for him and he again just spoke over me and said he didn't have time and then he hung up. What the heck? I have never had anyone treat me like this and I was nothing but kind and friendly to him. What a joke, horribly rude to a potential customer. Read moreAlthough the shop has cute antiques, don't waste your time having any lights repaired there. I brought in an old chandelier to be repaired and rewired. The cost was high but I was willing to pay it. The light was brought in in April and I was told by the owner (Jerry) that it wouldn't be ready until May. I was willing to wait. After months of being put off because it wasn't done, I finally picked up the chandelier today. I did not expect the work to take five months. I would not take anything else there. If you're trusting someone to stick to a time frame, they should honor the agreement. I suspect that the chandelier sat there for over four months, and he finally bothered to fix it two weeks ago....
