Really nice place inside the cemetery and not hard at all to find if you enter from mount auburn st easiest way is to follow central ( which when you enter is to your left near the visitor center) ave to walnut then go right the tower is not really in view but it is in your left on top of the steep hill you can follow any of the little surrounding paths around it ( most recommended in my opinion is the fern path it goes Down hill just off the tower grounds and the tower is no more than 50-100 feet away less). Place is easily accessible by the 71,72,and the 73 buses all going to Harvard Alewife is also not far either if you know the area and fresh pond. Overall the entire place is beautiful from the graves decorations the grounds monuments and the tower best views just west of Boston and only 15-20 minutes away definetly come by and see. Also I think the tower is only open until 4pm during the spring/ fall summer is until 6 and winter closed based on what I have...

Or maybe, it’s just a cool place to...

There is a walkway a little over halfway up the tower and a viewing area at the top.
I love coming at different seasons to see how differenly the area looks when there are bare trees, fresh spring leaves and fall foilage on the countless trees sprinkled all...
