V & V Appliance Parts Inc — Attraction in Canton

Today I had an extremely unpleasant experience with V & V. I needed a specific part [heating element for electric dryer], and to my astonishment, they tried to charge me a whopping $85 for it! Ironically, I discovered that the exact same part was available on Amazon for a mere $14, with the added convenience of free shipping that would have it delivered to my doorstep by tomorrow.

Not only was it disappointing to see such a significant price difference, but it also left me questioning the ethics of this business. It's unfathomable that they would attempt to take advantage of their customers by charging such an exorbitant amount for an item that can easily be purchased for a fraction of the price elsewhere.

I understand that small businesses often face a multitude of challenges, but this kind of pricing disparity is simply unacceptable. Customers should be able to rely on their local businesses for fair prices and competitive offerings. Sadly, this was not my experience with V &V.

I strongly urge anyone in need of parts to reconsider doing business with this company. Supporting local businesses is important, but not at the expense of being taken advantage of. Expecially with what we are all going through financially right now

Great people with the great ethics. I went in to buy a Dishwasher Part (Drain Pump for Frigidaire). I brought the old one with me. Rene tested the old one to make sure I actually needed one. She found my pump was fine and I needed a circuit board. She offered for me to buy the new pump and if it didn't work so they would take it back. The would have to claim the pump and a board (the only other possible culprit) is $150. $150 is more then I'm willing to spend on a 10 year old dishwasher. I don't want to cause a small business to have to go through more work for me to not spend money. Yes you can buy parts cheaper online. You can't buy customer service like this online. Needed heating element for Maytag dryer. I wanted an OEM part because considering what this thing was (exposed red hot element), did not want a house fire. Wess was extremely helpful and they had part in stock. They also took the time to walk me through process to access & replace old element. New part was identical to broken part and fit perfectly. Nothing I found online looked the same as original part even though they said was compatible with my dryer. Sure, it was slightly more expensive but the part was OEM, perfect fit and dryer was back in service in about 45 minutes.
