A garden where giants sleep

The Rocket Garden is what happens when the gods of engineering decide to plant legends instead of trees. Towering boosters stretch into the sky like silent sentinels, each one a monument to the madness and brilliance of the space race.

You don’t just walk through history — you walk under it. Around it. You feel it. These aren’t replicas; they’re real retired rockets, weathered but proud, like old adventurers telling tales without words.

Best part? You can touch them. Sit in a capsule. Imagine the countdown. Smell the Florida air and think: this… this is where the sky was...

An amazing collection of the different rockets used to start the NASA program. This is a self guided tour, but if you time it right, there is an actual guide who will walk you through the area and give you a more detailed history of the different rockets.

The scale of these rockets is impressive, but also pales in size of the Saturn 5 rockets. There is an F1 engine near the gateway pavilion that dwarfs the engines of every rocket...

Such a cool area to walk amongst the history of rockets used for space exploration. There is a guided tour of these rockets every so often. The times are posted so you can easily attend. If you’re not really interested in the tour, there are benches and tables to sit and chill. Good place to bring your lunch, snack, or space dots to sit and eat. Well worth the price of admission, especially if you’re...

The rocket garden is very interesting to walk around. There are a number of simulated capsules where you can try and squeeze into the space occupied by the astronauts (and they had space suits on). I was neither limber enough nor short enough to do several of them. There is also a gantry you can walk along (at ground level) as though you are getting into the capsule. Great partially interactive display/play area.
