A great new addition to the Kennedy Space center This part of the complex is included with admission and is a wonderful set of displays and 4 separate rides. The entrance is a large computer display projected on the wall and floor and giving a wonderfully futuristic look to this new part. The visitor enters a large room with rockets suspended from the ceiling and displays throughout the room. Many of them are interactive and show rockets being launched, virtually wearing gloves, holographic views, and rocket thrust. There is a small cafeteria and restaurants on the lower floor. The upper floor can be visited by stairs or ramps and leads to Spaceport KSC. This has 4 rides that seat 10 people in each pod. The ride is very similar to the Soaring ride in EPCOT but with a single row of 10 people. We got there early and rode 3 of the 4 rides. They were all very interesting with wonderful graphics and running dialogue to explain the journey. The entrance to this portion is very cool and all of these rides that we went on were worth going on them. The staff was very pleasant throughout the building, the facility was clean and the rides were a wonderful bonus. I highly recommend this new addition to anyone visiting the Kennedy...

A very nice addition to the rocket garden section of the visitors complex. We come to KSC once a year during Brevard days, when locals get a huge discount, and the Gateway was completed, and opened, since our last visit. The visuals really help to give scale to the things we see on TV, or from afar in the public viewing areas when a rocket is on the pad. This scale is also oh so evident at the Atlantis and Saturn Five exhibits. So happy to learn that the SpaceX Falcon 9 booster on display was one used during the 'Tesla to Mars' launch of a Falcon Heavy in February of 2018. We were anchored in the Banana River and marveled at the return of the two 'side' boosters to Landing Zone 1 & 2 on the Cape. The interactive nature of the smart walls incorporated into the majority of the exhibits is well done. My favorite portion of the exhibit was up on the second deck balcony where there is a large educational/interactive wealth of knowledge of probes, landers, and rovers launched over the years. I could have spent hours reading about the discoveries those tireless machines, and the dedicated planners, and controllers here on earth...

I wish they turn up the voice of the narration on the Spaceport KSC ride.... neither me nor no one in our group was able to understand the content because they voice was really low. The one we did was Cosmic Wonders, maybe the others are better? .... Also, you could see the shadow of other people feet on the screen side, which was very distracting.... other than that, the ride is really well done. The waiting area is also really cool and looks really modern and futuristic. And they screen and movement is really good.... but again, the point of the ride us to learn about what the talk about, but how can you learn if you cannot listen to the narrator's voice.... that is a very easy thing to fix so I hope they do fix the mix of the audio, after spending all that much money building the facility, and the simulation mechanics, throwing it away because of the audio level makes no sense.... I am an audio engineer myself, if you need help, I'll fix it for free. I also work...
