I've never wrote a review before, but I had to make an account just for this. I wish I could give this place 0 stars. I recently got my haircut here for the second time, and l guess I should've learned my lesson from the first time. The first time I went to this salon was about a year ago when I wanted a trim. The stylist literally straightened my hair as soon as I came in and just cut my hair dry! No wash or anything! If I can remember it cost about $25...which I still feel like it was a lot for the job she did. But recently I had the worst experience I ever had at a salon. All I needed was a trim and I figured I'd give this place another shot with a different stylist because I was on a budget and how bad could they mess up a trim? I went in with 32 inches of hair, and it was to the point where it was too long for my liking and all I wanted was about 2-3 inches off. Immediately the stylist didn't ask what I wanted to do with my hair so I had to speak up to let her know I only wanted a small trim. I kid you not I stood for the ENTIRE session! Now standing for a haircut isn't uncommon for me because I do have super long hair...but never in my life have I stood for the whole thing. I thought she was just going to have me stand for a portion to get the length I wanted and then I'd sit down and she'd wash my hair and finish cutting it. NOPE. She did not wash my hair or put in any salon products in it! Just my dry hair and a pair of scissors. As soon as I walked in the door she put the cape on me, used a cheap black comb to brush through my hair, and started cutting. And to make it worse she cut off over 6 inches! That really upset me. I think she got overly excited with the long hair and over-cut it and it was a terrible choppy job. Did nothing I asked for and cut my hair at this awkward length that I specifically told her was too short for me beforehand. And then she told me it cost $26!! I wish I would've said something to her or the manager because $26 is not worth this terrible dry cut with no product or wash. I could've had a friend with no experience cut my hair better. When I go to a salon I want to relax and enjoy the experience. Instead I stood the entire time in this hot salon with no A/C. Biggest regret giving this place a second chance. Trust me when I say ANY other local salon is better...

I took my daughter here instead of one of the chain stores, knowing I'd pay more but had high hopes for a better experience.
The girl who cut both my hair and my daughter's hair seemed nice enough but also very inexperienced and more interested in her cell phone. She suggested a hair cut that would create more tangles for my tender headed kid. Thankfully another lady who was getting a hair cut suggested we not cut it that way based on her experience with her own kid and what sounded like good advice from a different stylist.
The young lady talked trash about her last client who came back complaining about how she missed a bunch of hairs on her and it wasn't straight. I should have took that as my warning and not let my daughter get her hair cut there either. Lesson learned.
The stylist that cut our hair did not even part my daughter's hair. She just said, "looks like it naturally wants to part here." which is to the side a bit and that's ok, but at least run a comb down it and make sure it's a straight part! I had to ask her to correct her cut on my daughter's hair about 4 times before we left and it's still not straight, mostly because she didn't part it straight. She also missed the under section of her hair entirely, where most stylists know to tell you to look down so they DON'T miss it. This girl had no idea. It seemed like all she cared was how fast she could get us in and out. I had 2 appointments and we were both done in less time than a single appointment. Had she taken more time, she might not have missed so much.
My hair looks awful and she had zero clue about how to cut bangs. I had to correct her on my own bangs 6 times in the store and they are still messed up. It was frustrating that I had to tell her how to do HER job. She has no idea how to taper them so they don't look like an ugly fresh cut with chunky lines. I do better on my own.
Very disappointing.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went in for a hair appointment with Emily because I had seen some of her work and liked it. But 12 hours later, whole weekend wasted, and out $200 for literally nothing. My hair was green, blue, orange and grey. Literally 4 different colors! And not one were the color I wanted. I simply wanted some light blonde put in my hair but thatās definitely not what I got. I had to box dye my hair back myself because it was too late for me to get in anywhere and I could not walk around looking like how she left my hair. She made it seem like I had miscommunicated what I wanted. But when I went back to get it fixed I literally told her I just wanted to at least get it all the same color so I didnāt look like I had 4 different types of color in my hair and she said well i miscommunicated what color blonde I wanted. There was no blonde in my hair!!! My hair was anything but blonde!! I loved her as a person and she was great to talk to but she just didnāt know what she was doing at all. My poor hair went through way too much and it was so healthy before! And then she proceeded to block me after she told me I could contact her if I wanted to come back for her to try to fix it for the 3rd time!!!! Really?! Will definitely not be...
