We paid in advance for 2 day hotel and park hopper passes. Do this as it allows you to go back and forth between the water park and the amusement park both days. Parking was a bit steep $50 dollars to park in front of the two hotels on site and $35.00 to park in the north forty. Depends on how far you want to walk if the price matters to you or not. Go through the hotel to enter the park and you can get the lanyard to add the pop on stickers and collect all the different locations within the park. You can have your hand stamped if you need to run out to your car or hotel and be able to re enter the park again. The staff are great!! Your kids can swap out lego people with the works as long as they have all their body parts attached. It’s fun for the kids to swap them out all day. Tons of activities for all ages to enjoy. We rent a cabana at the water park for the day so that was great to have a place to go to rest and eat while the sun was out. There were plenty of places to set also so you don’t have to get a cabana. The other nice part about the cabana was you got two free Legoland towels, a bottle of sunscreen( coral reef protected product) a water proof lanyard case for your phone, a bag to carry it all in. Fort food in the cabana you just used your phone to text and the waiter came to you. You ordered and they brought it back to you quickly! I had the Baja chicken burrito and it was ginormous! I was able to put it in the small refrigerator and eat on it all day lol. The fridge also came with 4 cold waters. Drinks are spendy but you can bring in your own water bottle and refill it at the drinking fountain if you like. The water park attractions were geared for all ages! Toddlers to adults! Our group of 8 ranged in ages from 6 to 58 and we all had a great time!! Highly recommend this place for kids and cost over...
Read moreThe idea of the Legoland wate park is great. There are several slides, two play structures, a couple of pools, a lazy river, and a new wave pool. The problem is only half of the attractions are ever open. We have visited the water park four times this summer and only saw the Chima water park open once. The last two visits were during heat waves and half the water park was closed despite most of the Legoland guests being in the water park. The viist prior to today was , admittedly, a weekday but also the last day of summer before private and charter schools started classes so the park was busy but very understaffed. We decided to go back today, on Labor Day expecting the full park to be open. With 80 degree weather on a holiday weekend, lots of people had the same idea. The water park didn't even open until 11:30 and had a huge line to get in. Once in, we were disappointed that once again, the Chima water park (where the wave pool that we haven't even SEEN yet is ) was "closed for the season" even though the season is still summer and it's a busy holiday weekend. We were happy that the pirate water play structure was open as it has been closed the last visit. Many families like ours with little kids were there as every other water play area was packed. After an hour, the park manager closed it to open the racing slides which never have a big line. At that point, we decided just to leave and go home. Our kids are small and can't go on too many of the attractions at the water park. Everything available to them was either closed or overcrowded.
So, we like what the park has to offer but it is always under staffed with most of the attractions closed. If we didn't have season passes and had to pay the extra admission, we would definitely have asked for refunds. Why pay full price for a...
