The aquarium itself was beautiful. The reason for my one star review is one of the workers there. I had just gotten henna done on my hand maybe 30 mins before and we went to the aquarium where we got our hand stamped to get in. I had totally forgotten I had gotten henna at that point because I was helping take care of 5 other kids, so when I held my hand out to get the inside of my wrist stamped, the worker brushed the henna on my hand BARELY. I said it was alright and to not worry about it but for some reason she was furious. She yelled to the rest of the people in line to not give her the hand with henna on it from now on and was giving not only her hand with the henna on it bad looks but also me. She was complaining and muttering under her breath about it as she walked past us to go get a towel to wipe her hand. I was very upset at her being so awful about such a small thing? I didn’t understand why she was so upset. SHE didn’t get her henna messed up. And the henna was not cheap. I was sad to see it messed up but realized it was an accident, but with the way she was acting I would’ve thought I did her a great disservice. Her name is Andrea. She had short brown hair. She wasn’t nice :(. Attached photos are the before and after.
Later we had to go back to the beginning to get our strollers and she had a bandage or something on her hand. It was the same hand she got henna on, but I’m not for sure she had it there...
Read moreWe went to Legoland California yesterday. We were uncertain about the friendliness of your park at first. We followed a misleading entrance sign and only found forbidden entrances for the public (staff entrances). It was not just us. Others were driving looking as well. We decided to go into one marked off entrance just to ask how we could get to the park, which we could see, but find no entrance. We found that the booth had two fake legomen and huge spikes for anyone who dared to find the park the easy way (haha). When we got their, we were pleased to find that all your staff were very friendly. The young man who did the photo ID yesterday really stood out to us for his friendliness. My son's were excited to get legoland licences and he did not fail to make this experience exciting. Another staff really stood out to us and we want her to be recognized, because she is a real asset to your company. Your staff Dana really made my son's day. He is 11 with Autism and he must have asked her 100 questions (that may be a slight exaggeration). She answered each question with enthusiasm and my son talked about everything he learned for a couple hours after. I was so impressed with this young women who really took the time to make my son's experience amazing . Thank you for being so amazing Dana! You made my son's experience...
Read moreThis is definitely the best part of going to Legoland and one of the best attractions in Southern California. I always look forward to it. I have learned something new and exciting every time I have gone because the staff is so knowledgeable and goes out of their way to educate everyone that comes through with a smile and enthusiasm . you can tell they love what they do and they want to make it a great experience for everyone that comes. I tell everyone I meet that it is well worth their time and investment to go. My seven-year-old daughter and I have an even greater love for the ocean and all things ocean because of Sea Life Aquarium. Now going to tide pools or checking out the Jetties at low tide is fascinating because of our new knowledge. Plus my little one not only has major respect before the organisms and creatures, but she tries to pass it along to other kids and we have been known to rescue some sidewinding crabs and other Critters from not so knowledgeable or caring visitors and tourists. A big thank you and Round of Applause to Sea Life Aquarium and everyone who works there! Homeschooling has never been so fun ! Oh! And they are all about breeding and rescuing and protecting and all that...
