Lego City Deep Sea Adventure — Local services in Carlsbad

I loved this ride, and it far exceeded my expectations.

When my kids saw it they both groaned and said, “ugh, is this going to be like Nemo from Disneyland?”. I didn’t know, so we tried it.

We were pleasantly surprised to find it filed with live fish, including sharks and rays, how cool is that? There’s a little tablet next to each window which adds a treasure hunt interactive element to the ride which is fun as well.

My favorite part are the domed windows at the very front and rear (fore and aft?) of the sub. When you put your head in it truly feels as if you’re underwater....

Such a fun experience! The line was about 30 minutes long on a Saturday, and the ride was around 10 minutes long. You got to go inside a real submarine (holds about 10 people), and your sub goes through the real aquarium with live fish, sharks, and a huge sting ray! Fun for all ages, as long as you aren't severely claustrophobic. You have room to move around inside, but it is dark, and if you are claustrophobic at all, I just recommend skipping.
