Ocean Journey Cafe — Restaurant in Carlsbad

The only reason I'm giving the cafe 2 stars is because they invested in really great quality coffee. The people running the ciffee counter were incompetent. I highly suggest hiring a real barista. The man behind the woman helping me was more interested in chatting and flirting than their combined customer service performance.

The woman getting me my coffee barely knew how to take an order or suggest alternatives for the ingredients they were missing. A third man came over during my order and continued to interupt the woman making my coffee instead of doing something useful like running the food counter, cleaning, charging me, taking out the trash, etc.

The cafe smells awful. The fish smell doesn't do anything good for the atmosphere at all. I absolutely love coffee! This trip to the Coffee Counter of the cafe was a disappointment aside from the good quality beans. Please, hire a real barista 🙏My family absolutely LOVES Legoland and we plan to spend multiple vacations in the park. I would love to stop by again later this year and give the Ocean Journey Cafe another try. I hope things improve by...

Watched the gentleman packing the fresh watermelon eating it! Was waiting for my food and could see the gentleman through the service window eating it and packing at the same time! No organization as well!...

Great selection of food including vegetarian and kids options. Over priced as expected for an amusement park. Nice outdoor seating....
