Carlsbad skatepark is one of the best parks for beginner skateboarders in north county. It doesn’t have to be a premier skatepark for it to be valuable. The small and mellow obstacles are ideal for those learning skatepark terrain and etiquette for the first time. Fortunately Alga Norte is about 5 minutes away for those who demand a perfectly built park with more advanced options.
