The Upper Deck Company — Local services in Carlsbad

Upper deck is scammers, thieves and fraudsters. I purchased 2 packs on epack and all the years of having an account never complained or asked for anything, their system bugged on purchase i saw in top right corner a small red box state "their was an error with purchase" I had only 1 pack to open, did not get my 2nd pack, so when I reported this, their usual diluted customer reps, argued with me and Insinuated I was a liar unprofessionally. I checked my cards of recent added to my collection, nothing more than the 1 pack I opened, still the sane inserts, since I did not have many of that set it was easy to track, all this evidence and they won't even refund me or add my missing pack. I will be shipping all cards out and closing account it's a scam artist game, their system is buffed for hits, I buy paper boxes and get hits almost every 70% of the time, bought dozens of packs and over the years never one decent hit or top pick ever, I find it odd. My first box of 2023-2024 is open a bedard young guns 2nd pack in, 100's of packs in epack and can't even pull a card worth 50 bucks. Only ever get worst pulls possible or crap pulls on epack. Now being scammed out of a 16 dollar pack, shows you how money hungry and sad and tedious upperdeck is and how they don't care about their clients, to argue, accuse and rip off someone for 1 pack after 10+ years that someone dumped thousands and never asked for anything, one time he does provides proof and that scammed.

Don't go to epack or upperdeck for anything, ebay will give it to you cheaper and...

On Oct 10th, 2023 I opened a box of 2020-21 Upper Deck Clear Cut and also received a redemption card in the box. I contacted Upper Deck and registered for my card. I was told it would be Quinn Hughes Red Ink Auto. Allow 12-16 weeks. (3-4 months) – that’s Feb 10th, 2024.

I contacted UD on Jan 11th and they were still waiting for the card to be completed and sent back to them. I was given a choice to submit 5 players or teams and another card would be sent but it may not be any of the 5 players or 5 teams – so any card in their mind is good.

On June 22nd, 2024 I again reached out to UD for my card. This time they stated my card was never received from production ( say what ??) and they are not able to send the card I won. Pick 5 players or 5 teams and we’ll send you some type of card that WE deem to be of same value. Value is subjective to a fan.

Bottom line – I will not receive the card I won. That is misleading at best and poor production control if you don’t print all the cards that you state are available in the production run. I think there are laws against that, isn't there?

Buyer beware!! You could be buying a box or a case trying for a chase card and guess what?, UD may have or may not have produced the card in that set you are spending good money chasing.

I am totally impressed by the customer service at Upper Deck and I’m writing this review to commend their customer service rep, Trevor. I’ve been emailing back and forth with Trevor regarding codes that were supposed to be in the Neopets TCG starter decks I bought from the website, and he has been very kind, gracious, and patient the whole time. The first time the codes were mailed to me, they were sent to an address that wouldn’t have anyone present to sign for the package during the window that FedEx can deliver. Between then and now (about a timeline of a week), Trevor has been working on this case to get the codes to me to a different address where I can be present to sign for it at time for delivery. All of my questions and concerns were answered and handled, and I was beyond impressed by the calibre of his customer service.
