I walk using a walker and so I notice if the business has a heavy or lite door. I walked through a very lite door of Cana’s Feast so, kudos for Cana's Feast Winery! For being handicap friendly! The room I entered was very large and the decor was beautiful. There were two other people there when I arrived and they were up at the wine bar. I said hi and they said hi in return. Then a lady came out of the back room and she said hi and asked me if I wanted to taste the wine and I said no thank you what I would like is for her to answer a few questions and she said sure. I asked her how Cellar Clubs worked and she said there is no money due , to be a club member you have to sign up to receive their wine. And then you get all the club benefits, like 10% off 1 to 2 bottles of wine 15% off of 6 to 11 bottles of wine and and 20% off of 12+ bottles of wine. Club releases are February, May, September and December all you have to do is give them your credit card information and sign up for which club you want to be in there is the Piccolo club and you have to buy 2 bottles per quarter: cost, $60-80/qtr , complimentary tasting for up to 4 people in the tasting room. Then there is the Mezzo Club and the Grosso club all of which you can find information about on their web site or by stoping by the Cana’s feast winery. They have lots of fun activity’s for club members. Fun to be had by all club members. They have parties where all club members are invited and they provide a chef that cooks to compliment the wine and you can have access to the recipes. So give the Cana’s Feast winery a chance and stop by there and see for yourself what Cana’s Feast Winery...
Read moreI absolutely loved the atmosphere BUT the most repulsive substance on the planet to me is Scotch Whiskey and many of their red wines have a distinctive scotch taste. I noticed one immediately and mentioned it. Then the day after I could not get rid of the distinctive scotch taste in my mouth (even after tooth brushing and coffee) and now I realize even the bottle I purchased because I thought I liked it also tastes like scotch. I have never had this experience with red wine before and I may be unique for absolutely HATING scotch (I swear gasoline seems like a more appetizing option to drink than scotch to me) but it is unpleasant enough to me i had to say something. I would presume the wine maker is a big scotch lover? Is it the barrels? I have to know! Beautiful environment and lovely...
Read moreIf you like big, interesting reds, this is the winery for you. They specialize in French and Italian style wines, along with a few PNW favorites. It's impossible to choose a favorite wine here because they are all consistently great, which is especially impressive considering the variety offered.
Not only are the wines wonderful, they have the best staff. I learn something new every time I visit, and they always make you feel right at home. No wine snobs here. Plus, they have a gorgeous patio view. You can pack snacks or visit when they have local food trucks on site. It's the perfect way to spend an afternoon in wine country. Just be warned, you will definitely leave with more bottles than...
