Absolutely disgusted with the service here. I came in last night with a bunch of gaming systems to sell. The guy was helpful and started testing the products - he was the only one and one 15 minutes there was a huge line behind me. Out of my decency I decided to tell him I’ll come back tomorrow and that I’d let him just take care of the customers so they don’t wait. He was happy and I left. Today I came back with my gaming systems - after standing for 10 minutes this gentleman named WEST, behind the counter looks at me weird and said “um ma’am what exactly are you doing here?” I was like “I’m here to sell these gaming systems (by pointing at the gaming systems 2 boxes full). He looked at me and said “oh sorry, our testing units have been out for a few days”...I was like “oh really? Yesterday I came by and the guy was able to test 2 devices and now you’re stating my testing devices are not working”. He was like “oh, it’s been broken since 2:00 - since I got here”. And when I tried saying something - he goes “you can take it to other GameStop’s and walked away and started helping the customer behind me”. Out of humiliation, I asked him his name and he looked at me with a smirk on his face and said “west”. I’m sooooooo disgusted and feel soooo humiliated. I can’t believe such a big company like GameStop has employees like him who are misbehaving with customers like this. I will definitely speak to Matt, the manager and will go up...
Read moreBrought in 3 unopened items to return, along with the receipt from purchase, etc. Some corpulent lummox waddled from the back to tell me that their policy is to not return new items, but that I should open them, and then go to another store and just tell them that I didn't like it. Explained that it was a "new policy for the holidays to prevent losses at stores."
I proceeded to call another store to ask them what the return policy was. They told me new games only, if they were opened, they could only do the buy back pricing.
I called corporate, and they told me, in no uncertain terms, that what the manager had stated was categorically false, and that I definitely should not have opened the items.
I'm not sure if it was incompetence or laziness that informed the store's actions, but either way, make sure you insist on them showing you what the store policy is and don't trust them...

I drove 12 miles to this location because another location said they had the playstation I was looking for and before I told her thats what they told me she cut me off and told me she sold it. She was beign very rude to me (hispanic) and amazingly nice to other people (caucasian) that were there! I have never gotten treated this way! Gamestop you need to do better hiring these kind of people. This happened 03/11/2021 at around 6:00pm. I bought a brand new playstation 4 else where. This deserves less than 1...
